These shows are part of the American network’s bet on the summer’s programming as typically, on these dates, viewers drift from conventional broadcast television into streaming services in search of something that will substitute their habitual views. As such, this season of MasterChef tries to mix things up a bit with a new selection process, more challenges, and more guests.
What’s New In MasterChef Season 13?
The brand-new season of MasterChef revamps its selection process. For season 13, the producers divided the United States into regions” West, Midwest, Northeast, and Southern United States. And each region will have tryouts for the best chefs there, and then they will all be paired against each other after the regionals, giving us a wide, varied cast of aspiring gourmands that will dazzle the judge’s panel with their culinary creations and us. Moreover, the chefs from each region will first work as a team, then as the eliminations proceed, it will be all versus all as the final stages of the show come into play.
This season will be a twist because when chefs are grouped into regional teams, each individual chef might not have the best dish of the night, but they could be saved by someone in their team having the overall best dish, giving way for some alliances, some plots and also some new levels of emotion. Across the season, we’ll see some guests like Kelsey Murphy, André Rush, Tiffany Derby, Daphne Oz, Graham Elliot, and many more will join Gordon Ramsay, Aaron Sanchez, and Joe Bastianich in this upcoming season of MasterChef.
