Netflix finally released the much-awaited Reunion episodes of Love Is Blind season 4. What was originally supposed to be a live airing was uploaded as a regular episode, but that doesn’t mean the reunion special was any less entertaining and lacking in the drama department.
Love Is Blind is a reality dating show that was first released back on February 13th, 2020. Whether it was the new concept of dating without physically seeing someone or the fact that it was released right in the middle of lockdown, the show soon became a hit on Netflix and has since released new installments every year. The fourth season of the dating series has been airing since March 24th, 2023.
Created by Chris Coelen, the series features sets of singles meeting each other in pods, which are small rooms that prevent the two people from seeing each other. The singles are given time to talk to each other and are finally asked if they’d like to be with the other person.
Only at the time of engagement do the two contestants see each other for the first time. After the proposals, they can go on a fully paid trip and later spend time with each other at their respective homes.
When the time for officializing the wedding finally comes, the couples are asked if they’d like to be with each other or break the engagement. The show considers itself an experiment to see if love could happen without any physical factors being involved. Up until now, most relationships seen on here have been toxic, but some couples made us believe in love at foresight.
Love Is Blind: A Recap of Season 4
Season 4 had a total of 12 episodes, with a new Live reunion being released right after the end of the whole season. A total of 15 men and women were brought onto the sets of Love Is Blind, but only a few of them ended up finding their partner through the show. By the end of the season, there were a total of 6 couples that went further into the Love Is Blind experiment.
They were all sent on vacation and later made to live at each other’s homes to learn about their significant others and their families. When the wedding day arrived, Micah Luisser and Paul Peden decided to end their engagement and split right on the wedding day. Jackelina Bonds and Marshall Glaze were the ones to follow next as Jackelina expressed her feelings for Josh and wanted to be with him and not Marshall.
Zack Goytowski and Irina Solomonova thought they had found their perfect partner, but when they headed on vacation after their engagement, Irina realized that Zack wasn’t her type and expressed her feeling “The Ick” towards him. Zack himself was not over the relationships he had developed in the pods with other women, mainly Bliss. They decided to split before the wedding day arrived, and Zack formed a relationship with Bliss.
The couples that made it through the experiment were Tiffany Pennywell & Brett Brown, Zack Goytowski & Bliss Poureetezadi, and Chelsea Griffin & Kwame Appiah. All of these Love is Blind couples got married in May of 2022 and are still going strong as of April 2023.

Love Is Blind: Will We See More of Season 4’s Couples?
Season 4 of Love Is Blind ended up garnering almost a million viewers for its premiere, and it’s no surprise that viewers would want to see more of these experimental couples in the future. Knowing Netflix, the platform usually airs a Reunion episode at the end of the season, but special “After The Altar” episodes are also aired months after the wedding.
These episodes provide a quick update into the lives of married couples who found love within pods. We might get to see season 4’s After The Altar episodes by early 2024. Until then, head over to Netflix to stream the previous seasons and upcoming new adaptations of the dating show by other countries like the UK and Sweden.
