Deon wants to lose weight and do pull-ups. But, one of his kids knows it will be an easy money bet. Every day comes with a new challenge for the family. The Derricos go camping on one of the kid’s demands, only to get caught in a horrible situation consisting of a dark night and scary lightning. It makes them finally run away from the place.
The house turns too chaotic in the name of Marian’s (GG’s) seventy-third birthday. The yelling kids make the couple feel like they stay only in a single room. Deon gets out of the house after having a breakdown. It is how they start craving a bigger house. Marian must go through chemo, according to her doctor’s advice, to treat her deteriorating skin condition. Thus, Deon asks her to fight, but she seems to be losing hope.
As it was not enough, a new potential family member may arrive this season. He introduces himself as Amani and possibly the son of Deon’s eldest brother, Christopher (Chris) Turner, who passed away in 2020. GG wants Amani to go for DNA and prove his statement as a lie will be too devastating for her.
