Between Him and Her is a new and upcoming K-drama that has captured the attention of everyone with it’s new and refreshing plot. It deals with not only the struggles of a burnt out relationship, but also of the harsh reality of financial burden people face after their school days.
The drama made its premiere on 26th December, 2023, and is set to release episodes once a week, with a total of 10 episodes airing officialy. Starring Lee Dong Hae and Lee Seol as the main leads, Between Him and Her is a K-drama based on the webtoon titled “A Man and a Woman” by Hyeo No.
The plot revolves around the lives of Jung Hyun Sung (Lee Dong Hae) and Han Sung Ok (Lee Seol). The two have been inseperable for the past seven years and have seen each other grow from being naive 20- somethings to full grown adults.
However, their relationship has been facing issues as there’s no more of that spark between the two. One day, both Sung Ok and Hyun Sung come face to face with each other in a motel- not together, but with different people.

Synopsis
Jung Hyun Sung and Sung Ok were practically inseperable during their college days. They were the campus sweethearts and were head over heels for each other. Every moment they shared felt like sparks were flying, and they couldn’t imagine a day without meeting the other.
Both Hyun Sung and Sung Ok had a similar drive for fashion, as one was interested in clothes while the other in jewellery. They both planned to build a business together once they had grown up. However, fastforward to seven years, and they’re faced with the bitter truth.
The “seven year itch” that everyone warned them about was coming to life, and now the once inseperable pair couldn’t stand being next to each other.
While the two of them achieved their goal with Hyun Sung becoming a fashion designer and Sung Ok a jewellery designer, their lives weren’t as easy going as it seemed in the past.
They now had to stress on expanding business and keeping money on the table. With their seven year anniversary date growing cloer and closer, the couple just cant seem to find any passion left to celebrate.
They end up in a huge argument out of complete misunderstanding, and drift further apart. Leaving the house storming, Hyun Sung ends up in a motel with another girl. Once he’s filled with guillt and gets ready to leave, he finds Sung Ok in front of him with another man.
Will there ever be a chance for that same spark to come back to life and save their relationship?
