A completely spontaneous trip to a whole new country with no idea of their language, you and your friends against the world. As dreamy as it sounds, for many such an adventure remains just that, a dream. But not for our three hosts from the show, Adventure by Accident. The show first released its pilot episode in 2022 with one permanent member, Kian84.
If you have watched Korean variety shows, you would know that Kian84 is one of the permanent members of another reality show called I Live Alone. Apart from being an entertainer, he is a cartoonist known best for ‘Fashion King’, his webtoon. The reality show, Adventure by Accident first came to be only to help the cartoonist cum entertainer, Kian 84, break away from his mundane and boring lifestyle.
He told in an interview that for over a decade, he had lived a life that followed pretty much the same day over and over, which eventually, after ten long years, managed to exhaust him, causing burnout. Wanting to experience the wild side of life and himself, he contacted his own brother, Lee Shi Eon, and a skilled traveler and YouTuber, Pani Bottle, to accompany him on his completely unplanned to the other side of the earth.
The first season of the show was shot in its rawest form, with the audience finding it most entertaining, causing the producers to make Kian84 go on another such spontaneous trip, this time with completely new faces.
Adventure By Accident Season 2: The Plot
Season two of this reality show is all about the team’s travel experience in a country where fans of Korean music and drama spend a lifetime waiting for their idols to visit them. This time entertainer Kian84 will be flying all the way from South Korea to the subcontinent of India, with two guests all ready to accompany him on his trip.
One of the guests on the show will be the travel YouTuber Pani Bottle, who we saw in the last season of the show too, and the other new guest will be someone who became the eye candy for the public sometime last year. Fans may know him as one of the hottest and most talked about participants of the popular dating show Single’s Inferno, where he joined the cast a bit later.
It must be crystal clear by now that we are talking about the famous ex-UDT, Kim Jin Young, or how fans now know him, Dex. The three main hosts, Kian84, Pani Bottle, and Dex, travel to India with just one bag per host and no idea of what they are supposed to do in the country.
Adventure By Accident Season 2: Episode Timings
The show aired its first episode on Sunday, June 11th, 2023, and plans on releasing a total of eight episodes, which is one more than the last. The episodes are pretty long, each with a running time of around one hour and thirty minutes. New episodes for this adventurous show will be released on a weekly basis, i.e., every Sunday at 10:00 pm Korea Standard Time (KST).
