Across The Sky: Synopsis
Youth dramas always feel quite refreshing. Not only do the young viewers resonate with them as they portray the same kind of emotions a teenager goes through, but they also remind the audience about the golden days of our lives.
The drama starts with Sky[Main Lead], who persuades his mother to go back to Thailand to pursue his passion for music and dance. Sky flies to Thailand with the hope of debuting as an idol. The inspiration behind his dream was an idol group called.
Sky wanted to follow in the footsteps of his father, and he wanted to become an idol like his father, Tem. He straightly went to the agency where his father used to work as an idol. When he approached Max, the owner of the academy, he ignored him right away because the manager couldn’t face Sky because of the unfortunate incident that happened years ago.
Nearly 20 years ago, Sky’s father, Tem, passed away while he was giving a performance on the stage as an idol, and Max, who was Tem’s best friend, believes that he was solely responsible for the uncertain situation. As a result, out of shame, he couldn’t face Sky. But Sky wants to be a part of the agency and maintain the same legacy as his father.
He then meets with Khongkhwan [Female Lead], and we even see some cute and funny bickering scenes of them. However, even after Sky pursued Max to enroll him in his academy and let him join the biggest idol competition in Thailand, Max still didn’t agree, as the past trauma of his best friend was haunting him.
One day, Sky followed Max to the park where he used to train the students. There, too, Max was hesitant to even listen to him, but he finally, in front of everyone, showcased his talents. He performed an entire song. The whole crew was impressed by his talent even though there was a shift in his mind of Max.
He realized he couldn’t let Sky’s talent get wasted. It was Sky’s first step towards his dream as well. The show also captivated the audience because of its humor element, and fans are sure that they again have to suffer because of a cliffhanger moment as there is a possibility that we get a love triangle between the main leads.
Let’s wait and watch how Sky proves himself as an idol and the drama gracefully unfolds the story.
