How Are DMZ Weapons Slots Important?
Any dedicated DMZ player’s loadout must include insured weapon slots. But as of COD and Modern Warfare 2 season 4, there have been additional steps required to unlock those insured weapon slots.
To bring a specific weapon with them into every DMZ deployment, players have access to insured weapon slots. In addition, unlike Contraband weapons, which are permanently lost, if the player is eliminated, the weapon will eventually be recovered after a short cooldown. Earning XP, namely through successful extractions, lowers the insured weapon’s cooldown. Any unlocked weapon, including blueprints, can be used with any unlocked attachment.

How to Unlock 2nd Insured Slot Dmz
1. Reach level 4 and Complete Tier Missions
You can carry customized weaponry in DMZ thanks to insured slots, of which you can unlock the second and third pretty early on. As you must gain Reputation Level 4 with Black Mous, you must concentrate on accomplishing tasks on their side.
Given how simple the Tier 1 missions are for Black Mous, I would advise completing them all. You can then begin with a few straightforward Tier 2 Black Mous objectives, such as Team Player, Badge of Honour, Hostage Rescue, and Close Quarters.
2. Complete the challenges for the Second Insured Slot
You must finish three challenges before we may use the Second Insured Slot once it has been unlocked:
1. Extract 3 IFAKs from hospitals:
IFAKs are easier to obtain than AFAKs. This item is most frequently found in a hospital, where it is stocked on racks, tables, metal cabinets, first aid kits, big boxes, beds, and other items.
2. Extract a large Medical bag or 1 AFAK:
To access the second Insured Slot in DMZ, you’ll also need AFAK, which you may find in hospitals and other medical camps. You will have to search for this item for a while, though, as it is quite rare, and for large medical bags, it is easily accessible everywhere.
3. Extract 1 enemy operator’s weapon:
Whether you encounter a challenger at this point will depend on luck. Given that Ashika Island is the smallest map and has a better probability of having players nearby, we advise you to play there. You can even ask to blend into the opposing team via close talk. Then they can surrender their weapon to you. Pick up their weapon, then proceed to the exfil spot to extract.
