Tokyo Revengers is a popular title anime which is based on manga of the same name that started serialization in the March of 2017 and with a total of 31 volumes of the series, the manga came to an end in the November of 2022. While the manga has run its course, the Tokyo Revengers anime is still on the air including a new season scheduled to be released in the fall of this year.

Soon he sees news that the Tokyo Manji gang murders Hinata who was Takemich’s girlfriend at his peak and soon after he is hit by a train only to wind up 12 years earlier when he was in middle school.
Takemichi realizes that he could time travel back 12 years and has been given a chance to save his girlfriend from being murdered in the future and also help Tokyo Manji Gang become a “Good” gang. Now that we have a good idea of the plot, let us see how many seasons there have been in the anime so far before reviewing if it is worth watching.
How many seasons are there in Tokyo Revengers?
As of this writing, Tokyo Revengers anime consists of a total of 2 seasons only with the third season scheduled to be released in the fall of this year. The season of the anime produced by Liden Films consists of 24 episodes which aired from April of 2021 to September of 2021. In December 2021, the second season of the anime was announced as well.
The second season had a total of 13 episodes which aired earlier this year from January to April and shortly after the end of the second season, in fact, on the end of the very same day, the new season was also announced which is set to be released starting October of 2023.
As of now, it is not confined how many episodes will Tokyo Revengers season 3 is going to have but judging from the arc that the anime will be featured, it is safe to assume that it will have 12 to 13 episodes much like the second season. Also, analyzing the content left to be adapted from the manga there might be a fourth season as well.

Is Tokyo Revengers Worth Watching?
Given that Tokyo Revengers anime has a lot of episodes and as mentioned earlier there are a lot more episodes and seasons to come, it is only for a newcomer to ask if it is something that might be worth putting their time to. Well, there is no sure answer, as it depends on how much your time is worth.
If there is surely something very important to be doing, we’d recommend spending your time on it rather than watching this anime. There are a lot of good anime that are worth watching rather than Tokyo Revengers. While Tokyo Revengers is infamous for a lot of things such as its bad animation since the second season, the anime has a good fan base that was also disappointed with the ending of the manga.
The anime starts out strong and while it is interesting and fun to watch Takemichi changing the future and trying to save Hinata, it gets repetitive in the long run. So, in conclusion, Tokyo Revengers is worth watching only if you have time to spend.
