The latest chapter began with Duke checking the things on the training grounds and taking care of the injuries. He tries to understand how someone must have cut the diamond right under his nose. The Duke is sure that this work is not done by a demon because if it were, the barrier would have let them it were them.
Thus, the duke comes to the conclusion that it must have been done with a bug in the Darkness. Thinking that this might be the case, the duke starts preparing to see who exactly that bug is, starting with knowing the whereabouts of the people.
Meanwhile, Slyvia has matters on her own, with the maid telling her about the banquet hall where the guests will be arriving for the upcoming event. The maid tells how it had been gifted by the king to the first duke, and it is under their care.
Therefore, it is time for the maintenance to be done before the event is here, and while Slyvia agrees, she exhales that she doesn’t want to bother with all of this. The maids have also called out a designer who will do the maintenance of the Banquet hall, and he intends to steal a deal with much profit on his side.
He lays the necessary information about the items that could be changed and says that it will be a total of 30 golds to do them. But Slyvia tells him that she had noticed that these items were not selling in the market, and now he is here to sell them at a high price.
