The Bear Season 2 Episode 6 Plot
The Bear Season 2 Episode 6 shows a flashback of the incidents that took place five years ago from the present day. Carmy, who went to Copenhagen for an apprenticeship, comes for holidays and asks the people out to help those inside.
Mikey is broke. He genuinely asks Donna if she is fine, but it irritates her. Tiffany is pregnant, and Ritchie wants to earn more to support his growing family. The brothers, Neil Fak and Oh, want to get rich soon by selling baseball cards.
The guests on the table are Neil Fak’s brother, Uncle Jimmy, Theodore, a pregnant Tiffany, Uncle Lee, Michelle, and Steven. On the one hand, Carmy wants to join ‘The Beef,’ but he is not allowed to do so. On the other hand, Donna taunts him for visiting her only once a year.
Meanwhile, Richie and Michael know that Carmy still loves Claire. Richie wants a stable job to earn for his pregnant wife. Uncle Jimmy, who has a business, offered him a job but did not take the conversation ahead.
Michael “Mikey” Berzatto and Michelle knew that Carmy would not handle the toxicity at Mikey’s workplace. Thus, Mikey did not encourage Carmy to join his restaurant even after learning that Carmy was interested in it.
Donna prepares dishes for those in the dining room according to a grounded Italian tradition. She gets tired but does not ask for help and cries in the kitchen for not getting appreciated by others.
Until food gets served, the Fak brothers try to sell their baseball cards to the guests. Uncle Jimmy turns out to be too clever, but Steven falls into the trap. Pete brings tuna casserole, and Sugar throws it as she does not want Donna to feel that her efforts in the kitchen got wasted.
The Bear Season 2 Episode 6 Ending Explained
The Bear Season 2 Episode 6 gets more chaotic with time than any other episode in the series. Coming to the dining table, Mike and Lee argue over the dining table, and the former throws a fork at the latter. However, Lee verbally attacks Mikey, and others only look at two. It looked like the two did not argue for the first time.
Clueless Donna comes to the dining room, which improves the situation at the table, to some extent, until she gets asked by Natalie, aka Sugar if she is fine. Donna again gets furious and leaves the room after throwing a plate on the floor.
Meanwhile, Uncle Lee opens his mouth, Mikey again throws a fork at him, and the table turns into a warzone. As the drama is not enough, Donna breaks into the house with her car.
Mike goes to the car’s window to talk to Donna about the mess, and the other guests remain shocked for a while. Meanwhile, poor Carmy mentally gets separated from the chaos and stares at a fork on a stack of cannoli. The episode was complete, and everything was put together.
This episode showed how some family members go through mental imbalance. For instance, Mikey threw the forks twice at Lee, who later abused Mikey verbally, and Donna smashed the plates and broke into the house with her car.
