Hosted by renowned chef and Food Network staple chef Bobby Deen, the show has a panel of judges made up of Nancy Fuller, Lorraine Pascale, and Duff Goldman who will put to the test a team of eight bakers to see if they can make bake the most impressive, delicious and challenging cookies, desserts and holiday-themed treats out there in hopes of winning a grand cash prize of $50,000.
Each episode consists of a round in which they must bake a themed cookie, the winner gets an advantage for the next round in which they must make some other dessert like a cake, souffle, or whatever other surprise. The winner of the previous round not only gets extra time to complete their task, but they also get to restrict or take away certain ingredients from the competition.
The desserts are judged by the panel based on execution, presentation, taste, and other aspects that make the show a very competitive one. One that as stated earlier, shouldn’t be watched on an empty stomach because you will get hungry.
