Hokkaido Gals Are Super Adorable! Chapter 87 reveals Sayu and Shiki’s private field trip. Sayu also visited her grandparents before meeting with Shiki. But they promise her they won’t tell her mother bout her love affairs. Sayu’s friends were also surprised since they couldn’t find her at school and wanted to travel with her. Sayu has chosen to be with Shiki instead of going on a school trip.
Shiki realizes it will be a special day in his life since it is their only chance to shower each other with love and confess their feelings. But Sayu had already made her move since she almost kissed Shiki. The chapter begins when Shiki and Sayu meet and travel on a bus together. After traveling long distances, Sayu reveals they are getting off from the next stop.

The two realize that they have arrived at the observation deck. Sayu talks about going to the lift station. Shiki and Sayu enjoy exploring different things. He asks her about Kamui Mintara, and she reveals that it is something that has to do with the gods. Sayu realizes something and reveals that Kamui Mintara means the garden where gods play.
They walk on the flat side of the mountain, and Shiki realizes that it reminds him of when he climbed Takao in elementary school. He also reminds Sayu about the lovely name he gave her when they played together at a young age. Sayu realizes their love story begins at a young age, and the love grows daily.
Shiki realizes that he used to call Sayu mount Taisetsu. Sayu asks him if he is on mount Taisetsu and Shiki reveals where they are. She reveals how often she visited this place with family, and Shiki comments that he is happy he came to an important place with Sayu.
