Highspeed Étoile Anime Premieres April 5, 2024, with Nana Mizuki and SCANDAL Performing Theme Songs
As mentioned earlier, the latest promotional video for the Highspeed Étoile anime series has confirmed its premiere date in Japan, scheduled for Friday, April 5, 2024. Additionally, the video provided a sneak peek at the anime’s theme songs.
Nana Mizuki will be lending her voice for the opening theme song titled “ADRENALIZED,” and she also stars as the character Alice Summerwood. On the other hand, the ending theme song “Fanfare” will be performed by the girl group SCANDAL.
The anime is directed by Keitaro Motonaga at Studio A-Cat, with FirstCallMusic composing the score. Takamitsu Kono is responsible for overseeing the series scripts, while Yasunori Ebina takes on the role of sound director.
Takuya Fujima is credited as the original character designer for the show. Notably, the website proudly displays logos for King Amusement Creative Sonic Blade, Yostar, Good Smile Company, and Super Formula, with the latter being a former Japanese racing series involved in the collaboration project.
New additions to the cast include Marina Inoue as Chitose Kagura and Tsuyoshi Koyama as Genjiro Hinata. However, the confirmed spellings of their character names are yet to be announced. Inoue and Koyama join the previously revealed cast members, which include:
Fūka Izumi portrays Rin Rindo, Yōko Hikasa takes on the role of Kanata Asakawa, Shiori Izawa brings Towa Komachi to life, and Yui Horie embodies Sofia B. (Bryant) Tokitou. Rin Rindo, a newcomer to the scene, is poised to debut in the NEX Race, promising to bring further innovation to the sport. Despite initially aspiring to be a ballet dancer, Rin finds herself thrust into the racing and is determined to make her mark on it.
