Previously, in Hidden Love Chapter 88, we saw that Sang Zhi had been trailing Duan Jia Xu for a while now. Duan Jia Xu had totally forgotten about his birthday. Sang Zhi then makes fun of him being old and forgetting such things.
Duan Jia Xu then flirts back by telling Sang Zhi that he hopes for her to allow him to get married by the age of twenty-seven. So, Sang Zhi then yells at him, saying that she would not have even graduated when he turns twenty-seven. Duan Jia Xu is just happy that she did not turn him down.
Duan Jia Xu was pursuing a pretty lady and a stubborn one at that. While in the car, Sang Zhi was texting a senior about some college event, and it was clearly visible that Duan Jia Xu was jealous. He even asks Sang Zhi if the senior is handsome.
Then, Sang Zhi’s brother calls Duan Jia Xu, and Duan Jia Xu asks Sang Zhi to put the call on the speaker as he is driving. Sang Zhi’s brother then wishes Duan Jia Xu a happy birthday and tells him to start dating as he is already nearing his thirties.
