Genji Dono reveals that they are in a cavern on the island. He senses no monster or insects in the area and then explains to Sagiri that she was poisoned by the butterflies’ scales, and as a result, she has lost consciousness. Although with this, Sagiri, with a sad face, stands up where Genji says that she should not move around yet.

Later in the chapter, when she steps outside the cavern, Sagiri finds out the rest of the crew members, along with, of course, Gabimaru. After noticing some weird things in their hand, Sagiri asks them what they are doing. Where Gabimaru says that he is preparing dinner, and on the other hand Senta says that he is mending their torn clothes.

After hearing all these, Sagiri reminds them what they said before, that they do not have much time on their hand, but Gabimaru says that he has reservations. Later, Senta says that as Sagiri has finally awakened, they should go over what they know so far as a team. They can eat the food Gabimaru makes while they talk.

However, it turns out that Gabimaru made Kikatsugan, where he says that he made them using stuff in the area and believes that they actually are pretty well made, and while he was out gathering ingredients, he scouted out the island.

Gabimaru explains that to cut to the chase, he didn’t see anything promising in the area, though since they don’t know what the whole island looks like, he can not speak much on that subject.

When Yuzuriha asks him if he will be able to recognize it even if it were around and if he knows something about the Elixer of Life, Gabimaru (while recalling Iwagakure Chief) declines and lies by saying that this job was the first he heard about the Elixir of Life.

Gabimaru says that he searched based on the drawing they have. However, Yuzuriha doubts it. Gabimaru explains that what he learned while gathering ingredients was about flora.

The species are mixed, but they are mostly ordinary plants found on the mainland. He saw a few unfamiliar ones as well. This was when Genji Dono said that they were near Ryukyu. They could be flowers from there.

By further explaining the scenario, Gabimaru says that what caught his attention was that he found several flowers resembling the samurai who had become flowers. With this, if most of the plants on this island used to be humans, then they can guess what happened to the rest of them.

However, Gabimaru says that in any case, he didn’t find anything like the mandarin looking thing.
