Heartbeat Episode 7 will be released this week, and fans cannot be more excited about what will unravel in the upcoming episode after the previous one ended on a shocking cliffhanger! The mansion was now open to rent out rooms, and a familiar face too had come, which stirred up a surprise in Woo Hyeol. Will this person who refers to as “Hae Sun” actually be the one he had been searching for?
Heartbeat is a K-drama that premiered its first episode on June 26, 2023, and tells the story of Woo Hyeol, a vampire who had made desperate attempts to become a normal human; however, his plan failed miserably, and he ended up a hybrid of half-vampire and half-human, putting him in a rather meddlesome position all because he had woken up a day before his 100 years of sleep.
He meets In Hae, who has no sympathy for his situation and only wants to survive at the hands of a vampire. And as fate may have it, In Hae’s blood was, infact, poisonous for him, so there was no way he could attack her. As they get closer, In Hae and Woo Hyeol will finally open up to each other, and love perhaps may bloom between them.
Heartbeat Episode 6 Recap (Spoilers!)
Heartbeat Episode 6 opens with In Hae’s discovery of a portrait of Hae Sun. As soon as she saw it, she wanted to ask Woo Hyeol if he would fall in love with her if she were truly Hae Sun’s reincarnation. To this, he admitted that he could notice Hae Sun’s blood in her, but the problem is that In Hae’s blood is poisonous, unlike Hae Sun’s, so even though there is a start resemblance between the two, it seems impossible.
Then a flashback scene comes in, where he and In hae are in the school, and he overhears the principal trying to fire him. He immediately took a bucket from the washroom and poured water on him as he left. At this, In Hae just laughed and told him they couldn’t be jobless together. Woo Hyeol also tells In Hae that the mansion was called the Shaded Oasis, and a number of people used to visit it.
Hae told Woo Hyeol about the deal Do Shik had presented, asking to rent out the rooms in the mansion. At first, he was reluctant for it to happen. But she eventually convinced him with the hope that Hae Sun, too, might turn up if they rented out the rooms.
The following day, Do Sik comes to visit the mansion after In Hae agrees to his offer. Hyun Joo noticed that his assistant was standing outside, which made Do Sik quite suspicious. When Woo Hyeol tells his friends about the whole conversation between him and Do Sik and how he told him he wanted to protect her, they ask why he’s upset at seeing the two of them fall in love.
Hae, meanwhile, thought Woo Hyeol had a bad mood because he didn’t like the changes being done to the mansion, and he apologized. Woo Hyeol just smiles, and they carry on to the mansion. The episode ends with Hae Won standing outside of the mansion, and Woo Hyeol is in shock. He immediately runs to her and embraces her, calling her Hae Sun.
