Marking the Hollywood debut of the beloved Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt in the Hollywood industry with the upcoming spy-thriller titled Heart Of Stone is one of the most awaited movies to be broadcasted in 2023.
Set to release on 11 August 2023, Heart Of Stone has the viewers hooked with its captivating trailer released a month prior to the release. Directed by Tom Harper, the upcoming thriller series stars Gal Gadot playing the role of Rachel Stone, the film’s protagonist.
Jamie Dornan plays the role of Parker, Alia Bhatt plays the role of Keya Dhawan, Sophie Okonedo plays the role of a nomad, Matthias Schweighofer plays the role of Jack of Hearts, Jing Luis plays the role of Theresa Yang, Paul Ready plays the role of Max Bailey, and Archie Madekwe playing the role of Ivoo in the lead cast.
Heart of Stone will follow Rachel Stone, an International intelligence agent, on the quest to protect the mysterious MacGuffina, also known as “The Heart.” Rachel races against time to stop a hacker from stealing the most dangerous weapon from the global peacekeeping agency she works at.
Skydance and Pilot Wave undertook the production of the upcoming spy-thriller Heart Of Stone. Greg Rucka gave a unique story for the film. Viewers felt Alia Bhatt did an okay job in the movie seeing it was her debut in the industry.
Alia is expanding her horizon brilliantly while trying her hands at every opportunity coming her way. The film didn’t do well with viewers as the storyline felt a bit dragged.

Heart Of Stone Premise
The film focuses on Rachel Stone, an International intelligence agent racing against time to protect the mysterious MacGuffin, who also goes by the name The Heart. The film starts with the scene at the ski resort of Alpin Arena Senales, located in Italy, with a team of MI6 agents waiting for the arrival of Kulvaney, a notorious arms dealer undercover.
The team of MI6 agents has four team members assigned to the mission, including Rachel Stine and Parker, the tech duo, and Yang and Park, the field agents. Rachel has recently started working, so she is inexperienced in fieldwork, thus making the rest of the agents in the team protective of her.
Bailey is like an older brother to Stone, and the two share every little detail about their lives with each other. The team of agents moves forward to a casino event where the agents notice the live stream of the current operations undertaken by the US Navy Seals.
During the event, the agents perceive the attendee making wagers on the operation, leading Rachel to question the limit of technology and how it has advanced to the point where the private military server has become easily hackable.
The agents engage with Mulvaney’s henchmen after their cover gets blown during the casino event. This leads the agents to realize that their communication link has been hacked. The clues point toward a female hacker who might also have been responsible for hacking the Navy’s data breach.
A shocking revelation gets made when the viewers realize that Stone isn’t an inexperienced techie but a secret agent working for a Chariot, an espionage group working undercover for an operation.
Rachel arrives at the foothill before Yang and Parker decimate Mulvaney’s henchmen. Mulvaney ends his life by popping a cyanide pill the moment Parker arrives at the scene. Charter is an independent secretive agency formed by ex-intelligence personnel across the world.
Meanwhile, at MI6 Headquarters, Stone gets the scolding of her lifetime for failing to complete her job of capturing the hacker responsible for hacking Chariot’s system. Bailey opens up about his suspicion that the hacking must have been done by an inside person working at Charter.
At the headquarter of Charter, Stone meets with Nomad, and Jack has figured out the identity of the girl responsible for hacking the systems. As it turns out, Keya Dhawan, a 22-year-old from Pune, is the woman behind the hacking incidents. As a child, Keya got adopted by Niam Kharche, a millionaire investor who noticed her abilities and took her under his wings.
Keya hacked the systems as she wanted to expose Niam’s crime along with another millionaire who built their fortune on the sufferings of poor people. Parker serves as an aide to Keya as he plans his own revenge to take from Charter after he gets injured in an attack done by them.
During the chase at the film’s end, Parker gets shot dead while Keya ends up getting put behind the bar. After several twists and turns, the film ends with Parker and Keya accompanying Stone on her new mission.
Heart Of Stone Filming Locations
The filming of the spy-thriller started back in December of 2022, with Alpin Arena as the prime location for filming.
1. Morocco
A north African country, Morocco, bordering the Atlantic Ocean, known for its beautiful landscapes, was used by the crew of Heart of Stone to film some pivotal parts of the movie.
2. Iceland
Iceland was used by the crew for filming some parts of the film. Reykjavik in Iceland was used for the filming of Heart and Stone’s climax scene.
3. Portugal
Known to be one of the oldest countries in Europe, Portugal was used by the crew of Heart of Stone to film some of the prime scenes of the movie. Lisbon in Portugal was used to film the part with the team’s mission and car crash.
Senegalese village and Aljezur in Portugal are some other notable locations used by the crew to film some of the prime scenes of the movie.
4. London
The capital of England, London, was used by the crew of Heart of Stone to film some of the time scenes of the movie. The scene with Rachel living at the beginning of the movie got filmed at this location.
