Hasbro and Nintendo have announced a multi-year licensing partnership that will bring a new line of The Legend of Zelda toys to fans beginning in 2027.

The collaboration marks a significant expansion of Nintendo’s merchandise lineup, with the first products set to be revealed during San Diego Comic-Con 2026, which takes place from July 23 to July 26. The announcement was made by Hasbro.

First Legend of Zelda figures arrive in 2027

The partnership will kick off with three 6-inch-scale action figures, offering collectors and longtime Zelda fans a new officially licensed toy line. While Hasbro has not yet revealed which characters will be included, the figures will make their debut at San Diego Comic-Con before launching in 2027.

Commenting on the collaboration, Billy Lagor, President of Toys and Board Games at Hasbro, said:

“By combining Nintendo’s iconic storytelling with Hasbro’s leadership in action and role-play, we’re delivering toys that invite fans to play, explore and forge their own epic adventures.”

Originally released in 1987 in North America, The Legend of Zelda has become one of Nintendo’s most celebrated franchises, following Link, Princess Zelda, and their battles against Ganondorf across the kingdom of Hyrule.

The agreement further expands Hasbro’s portfolio of major entertainment brands, joining well-known franchises such as Transformers, Magic: The Gathering, Dungeons & Dragons, Monopoly, Nerf, and Play-Doh. For Nintendo fans, the partnership signals a new range of premium collectibles inspired by one of gaming’s most iconic series.
