Happiness Battle Episode 4 Recap (Spoilers!)
In Battle for Happiness Episode 4, Jang wakes up startled with Ji Yul on her after having a frightening nightmare where she’s murdered by Yu Jin. Jang’s morning is hectic proves to be hectic as she ends up burning her children’s breakfast while taking care of Ha Yul. Although she has numerous tasks to complete at home, Jang is determined to solve the murder case.
The following day, Jung Ah invites her to accompany him to the kids’ café, and she accepts. She is harmed while planting the sapling and remembers seeing a bandage on Na Young’s fingers in the same location. Jang is urged by Na Young to blend in and avoid making a spectacle of herself. Jang desperately asks her why she despises her so much and whether she is referring to Yu Jin. These statements from Jang hit a nerve, causing Na Young to respond angrily.
After returning home, Na Young discovers her husband taking a bath and posts his clothes smelling of perfume, confronting him regarding him. When he gives no definite response, she gives him a death threat and refuses to believe when he tells her that the salesperson was wearing the perfume when he went to buy the bracelet for her.
Later, Na Young is seated next to Jang in the car, and she informs her that she needs to ask her a question. When Jang notices Na Young is upset and unwilling, she decides to get out of the vehicle. Right then, Na Young starts the car and says that Yu Jin’s death was suicide, and she brought it upon herself. She goes crazy and crashes the car after seeing Jo, leading both of them to the hospital.
While playing a game of hide-and-seek with the children at home, Ji Yul discovers a box of pictures that she unintentionally kicks before taking some of them outside. Asking if the man in one of the pictures is their father, Jin Seop immediately snatches away the picture, giving them no further explanation.
The episode ends with Jang discovering the pictures on returning home. She notices how in the picture, only a woman’s hand is visible alongside Na Young’s husband. Jang is surprised when she discovers that the bracelet on the hand is the same one that Yu Jin owns.
