Hazuki tells Lori about a haunted house and suggests that they should check it out. She tells him that if anything funny happens he should just fight the ghosts and save them. Lori was just listening to her and not paying a lot of attention.

He was already preoccupied with thinking about how Hazuki seemed distant to him these days. He also ponders over the fact that she is acting very strange out of the blue almost as if something is bothering her but she isn’t telling him about it.

He starts to wonder what the reason might be for her discomforted state. He thinks that maybe he is the reason that she is acting that way, it might be because of him secretly kissing her at night when she is asleep.

However, he justifies himself by saying that, it is exactly what she also might be doing when he is unconscious. A creepy sound interrupts the overthinking spree and Lori hugs Hasuki very tightly saying that he is scared of such places and would like to stick close to her.

Hazuki just acts in a very non-coupley way. She just pushes him back hard and shouts at him. She says that the distance they have between them is the best for both of them and should remain this way only because if they stay too close she has no idea what she might end up doing that will hurt their relationship.
