Seeing all his classmates pairing up at the start of the new school year, he muster up the courage to ask out a girl who he had a crush on for a very long time named Yukana Yame. Yukana thought of it as a desperate attempt of his to get a girlfriend so she jokingly accepts his confession.
However, things seem to change for Junichi as he starts to get the attention of many females including her childhood friend and neighbour Nene Fujinoki, Yukana’s friend Ranko Honjou and the school Madona, Yui Kaashi.
This series is about how Junichi and Yukana got through their everyday teenage struggle and fall for each other while Junichi tries to maintain this little harem of his all on his own.

Hajimete No Gal Chapter 152: Recap
Before talking about the upcoming chapter of Hajimete No Gal, Chapter 153. Let us have a little recap about the happenings up until the previous chapter of the series, Chapter 152. The chapter starts with Gokomachi and Junichi entering a Love Hotel trying to hide from Gokomachi’s grandmother.
The chapter continues on to show how it’s the first time both the characters are at a Love hotel and none of them knows how things really work in there. As much nervous and out of place both of them feel they try to maintain a calm composure to not throw each other off.
Gokomachi tries to lighten up the mood with some television but it was more of a video trap and she quickly shuts off the tv. The situation is now more awkward between them due to the trap and they couldn’t decide whether to talk about it or pretend that it never happened as both instances are quite embarrassing.
We had some more hilarious incidents between the two of them at the hotel and after half an hour both of them decides to leave as they thought it must be enough time to make her grandma believe that both of them are dating.
As they left the hotel room they see Gokomachi’s grandma working at the hotel. They were caught off-guard and just ran away from her. As if this was not enough, while they were leaving the hotel they encounter Yukana and on this note, the chapter ends.

Hajimete No Gal is a bit slow when it comes to the release of new chapters. Usually, new chapters are released every 15 days or two weeks though, it can also extend to a maximum of 21 days considering there is no delay in the release of the chapters.
