This new year brings joy to Growing Up Hip Hop fans, as it will be back with its 7th season. Yes, that’s correct, which means more drama right off the bat. As Growing Up Hip Hop Season 7 is premiering in the first week of January, the teaser is already out.
Season 7 will be bringing the old cast back and will be adding more fun with the new cast joining the show as well. So you can expect to get to know the lives of these new members as well as continue with the journey of the returning cast.
For those who might not know what Growing Up Hip Hop is all about. It’s a TV reality show which revolves around the children of famous personalities coming from entertainment backgrounds.
So the show focuses on a group of friends having famous parents going through the events of their lives. Making a name for themselves, creating a career of their own, and becoming more independent.
The show first aired back in 2016 and now has six complete seasons. And Season 7 is on its way to your screens.

Growing Up Hip Hop: Recap
Previously so much has happened on Growing Up Hip Hop that’s just not possible to keep track of. But nonetheless, lest try and recap season 6. So we have seen Tee Tee and Egypt bicker at each other.
An unresolved issue sneaks up on Sam and JoJo. Tee Tee not inviting Peppers to the wedding, Vanessa was a bit worried about Angela’s new relationship.
The party goes from fun to high-level drama when Boogie’s loyalty as a friend is questioned by Briana. We also cannot miss the rumors, be it of Cheating, Infidelity, or a Scandal involving Angela. Shawn is pressured to go into couples therapy.
Relationships were tested as Cree and Uncle Luke got into some heated arguments upon the reunion. And some even broke, as in the case of Angela.
And as we all know, the season came to an end with Angela planning for another baby, a Dispute between Tanice and Sakoya. Egypt and sam rush their marriage while sam is on the verge of going to prison.
Growing Up Hip Hop Season 7: Cast
Let’s take a look at the cast members For Season 7. While you may recognize them from previous seasons, there will be new faces as well.
So we have Lil Twist, Tanice, Angela, Vanessa, Jojo, Briana Latrise and Tahira Francis. Along with Cree, Sam, Tyran, Savannah Jordan, and Sandra Denton. That’s not it; you might also remember Sakoya Wynter. She is also added to the show just to have more drama, as she and Tanice had an argument in the previous season.
The biggest surprise is that Romeo Is also making his return to the show with season 7. Last he left the show in a very controversial way, ending his friendship with angela. Not the only reason for his departure, he was also a bit at odds with Lil twist.
Mainly because of his behavior and jokes, which Romeo felt insulting and disrespectful. You can imagine the drama shooting through the roof when they are going to interact again.
Growing Up Hip Hop Season 7 Episode 1: Release Date
Catch the all-new Growing Up Hip Hop Season 7 Episode 1 on 5th January 2023. So just tune in at 9 pm to WeTV. If you are one of those who keeps on forgetting the dates, then just remember the new episode is released every Thursday. As per the synopsis released, we are going to get a lot of drama right from the first scene. We are going to see some celebrations as it’s Hip Hop’s 50 and Layzie and Treach honor the same. Angela is in need of some singing lessons; you’ll see that Egypt is pregnant. Sam is getting some advice from Treach while Tanice and her father are in the middle of an argument in which JoJo surely doesn’t wanna stuck in between.
So a lot of things are spiraling on 5th January, which you surely don’t wanna miss.
