Green Mothers’ Club Episode 6 is not too far now, and with all the exciting revelations that are in store, viewers can’t wait anymore. Tensions between Eun Pyo and Jin Ha continue to be high, and viewers get another flashback where we understand some of the reasons why Eun Pyo is insecure about herself when compared to Jin Ha. When they were younger, Jin Ha got into the prestigious art school of her choice, and she gifts Eun Pyo a CD. Back in home, Eun Pyo is crying, not only because she can’t get into the school of her choice but because her parents can’t even afford a CD player, rendering Jin Ha’s gift not only useless but also a reminder of how better-off Jin Ha is in all aspects of her life than her.
Furthermore, Eun Pyo also has to deal with the hypocrite of her cousin, Yoon Joo, who talks badly about Eun Pyo and her children along with the other moms who say that Eun Pyo’s kids are on the blacklist. Add to that her new part-time job as the ghostwriter of her ex-lover (and Jin Ha’s husband) Luis Bunuel’s new book. Meanwhile, Eun Pyo and Chun Hui’s relationship has taken a heartwarming turn as both of them routinely find themselves enjoying their vices after the stressfulness of the whole day overcomes them. Here, we will let you know about the release date and streaming details of Green Mothers’ Club Episode 6.
Green Mothers’ Club Recap
Jin Ha tries to strike up a partnership with Yoon Joo in hopes of getting close to Eun Pyo. As Yoon Joo’s daughter got rejected from the group of mothers headed by Chun Hui in favor of Eun Pyo’s son Dong Seok (who was now diagnosed as a gifted child), Jin Ha lures her by partnering their children together for the Rube Goldberg Competition. Overcoming many tribulations, Lee Eun Pyo’s team wins the grand prize in the competition.
Eun Pyo is distraught when her mother-in-law makes her feel like a criminal for being ambitious about her own career and tries to stop her from moving out of Sanghwi Dong (back when Dong Seok was still undiagnosed), and when her mother-in-law shamelessly praises only her own son for having good genes enough to create a gifted child. On the other hand, Chun Hui’s concerns are related to Lee Man Su (Yoon Joo’s husband). Chun Hui’s shady husband is threatening Lee Man Su (as they once worked in the same pharmaceutical company) to not reveal a compromising secret, and it seems like Chun Hui had some kind of a romantic relationship with him in the past too.
Hence, when Eun Pyo busted out her bottle of red wine and took a glass of it to sip on her balcony, she found Chun Hui with a cigarette in her hand in hers. Finally, they go on drunken escapades drinking red wine (and Chun Hui calls another shady guy to give them a car ride, an experience which quickly goes awry as they all end up in the police station). Jin Ha also catches them having fun times being completely drunk in the streets with a pained expression.
Kim Young Mi, the ‘woke’ mom who attends all types of protests related to academics, gets a call from her son’s teacher, who says that she hasn’t been teaching her son mathematics for his grade level. This pisses Young Mi off, and she posts a fiery bulletin naming the teacher, accusing her of ordering her to teach her child while neglecting her own responsibilities as a teacher.
According to Young Mi, the teacher only serves to continue the discriminatory educational system; she threatened to post the bulletin on the homepage of the Office of Education and started a petition. Chun Hui says that she wants to get rid of the gifted students’ programs because Young Mi is salty that her kid is not doing well, while Jin Ha supports Young Mi, surprising a lot of the mothers. Meanwhile, Young Mi doesn’t pay heed to Young Mi’s advances of befriending her but has no problem chatting it up with Young Mi’s husband (who is also a journalist writing a piece on her) about how she is envious of people who can feel art with all their passion.
