By the time, viewers make their way into Green Mothers’ Club Episode 2, it would be obvious to them that the story is not just about a bunch of helicopter mothers fighting for the best resources for their children in a competitive environment. The trailers released of Green Mothers’ Club before its premiere have foreshadowed a love triangle between two mothers Lee Eun Pyo and Seo Jin Ha, and the latter’s husband Luis Bunuel.
The mothers of the Green Mothers’ Club are neither friends nor co-workers, and their friendships that are tinged with interpersonal threads of envy develop in a special way. One of the actresses cast in the drama Lee Yo Won revealed that it’s not just a drama about the struggles of parents and ‘new’ mothers. If any viewer is on the edge of investing their time in Green Mothers’ Club or not, Lee Yo Won says that the story is not just about parents, but also about women’s struggles of friendship, family and love, all tied nicely with elements of thriller in them. If this has got you excited about the Green Mothers’ Club episode 2, we shall let you know the streaming details of the show here.
The Rivalrous Relationship Between Lee Eun Pyo & Seo Jin Ha
It has been revealed that Lee Eun Pyo’s ex-boyfriend actually married her rival Seo Jin Ha. The reasons for their breakup and how Seo Jin Ha’s husband Luis Bunuel came to be married to her will be revealed throughout the Green Mothers’ Club episodes. Lee Eun Pyo moves into the neighborhood of Sangwi Dong in hopes of educating her two children in an academically healthy environment, and she ends up meeting her old friend Seo Jin Ha there. Ever since their childhood, lee Eun Pyo and Seo Jin Ha have been compared amongst people around them, be it their talents or their family backgrounds.
It has been revealed that Lee Eun Pyo felt a rivalry towards Seo Jin Ha, just like the composer Antonio Salieri was said to have been envious of the natural talents that Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart possessed. Since Seo Jin Ha was somebody that Lee Eun Pyo wanted to never come across again in her life, the latter isn’t happy when she finds out they are neighbours. But Seo Jin Ha gives Eun Pyo a warm welcome, acting as if there is no shared history between them. Lee Eun Pyo’s sense of insecurity rears its ugly head once again, as she can’t stop comparing her naïve son to Seo Jin Ha’s son who has a gifted voice.
To make matters worse, when Luis Bunuel, the ex-lover of Lee Eun Pyo appears as the husband of Seo Jin Ha, the relationship between the two women is anticipated to take an unexpected turn. Viewers are curious as to why Luis Bunuel, who supported Lee Eun Pyo throughout her time in France, came back to South Korea to get married to her biggest rival Seo Jin Ha.
Lee Yo Won on the Green Mothers’ Club Script
Lee Yo Won talked about the realistic script of Green Mothers’ Club in the online production presentation conference held before the premiere of the show, revealing, “the writer of this drama has two kids! So, when I read the script about a mother with two kids, the script felt very real. The kinds of stories about motherhood we hear very often around us made their way onto the script. Since the script contained a lot of emotions I personally have felt, and have heard my acquaintances talk about them too, so I think our writer really did her research by taking into account what the actual mothers of our nation feel.”
