Grand Blue Chapter 86 will be a chapter where we get Iori into trouble as he ends up betraying his friends (not really). As he gets into a situation with Chisa that leads to a big misunderstanding with his friend in the mech branch at college. And being a mech student is not easy as the subjects aren’t easy and the chances of getting a girl.

Grand Blue Chapter 85 starts with a new story that is based on the present time’s event, unlike the chapter before it. In the chapter prior, we got to see Iori cleaning his room with his friends only to find a mysterious item. Pab had gotten a certificate a year earlier for being a model club of the school.
This shocked the trio, and they demanded an explanation for what they had done, with each of them taking jabs at senior members. The seniors delved into a story that left the trio even more in shock as their behavior was not a good one at all! Though, we get to learn another thing about Pab and the experiences they had back when Iori and Kouhei joined.
Then came the next chapter when the sausage group of the university (Shinichirou) decided to hold a meeting. Halloween was on the horizon, and they decided they would have some couples break up. All of his friends denied the idea until, one by one; they came together to form a union.

Grand Blue Chapter 86 will show us the story of how Kouhei and Iori end up knocked out by Yuu, the one whose dream they broke in the last chapter. Their friend Yuu is the only outlier in the group with an actual girlfriend, and no one in his friend circle likes that. Thus, they band together and decide to ruin Yuu’s passage to manhood once again and succeed too.
However, it is understandable how things would turn out upside down for Iori since she has Chika to make things complicated for her. But why Iori? It could be that Cakey would have done something that would have led to him getting batted in the head later. But there could also be the case of the VA’s sister showing up to show interest in him for this particular occasion to celebrate Halloween with him.
