It feels 2022 started on a very positive note for BamBam from GOT7. The Thai singer-songwriter was escalated to cloud nine when he made his special announcement in the early hours of 8th January. Fans were elated after the news, and why not? It was something to be excited about. BamBam revealed that he had been chosen as the Global Ambassador for the Golden State Warriors. It is no secret that he shares likeness for the American basketball team, and now getting to be its Global Ambassador is something worth celebrating.
Just sharing the news, comments kept pouring down at his social media handle. It seems the list for the good list is quite long for BamBam this year. He also shared something about his anticipated upcoming second EP. Previously as well, his solo works have gained massive support from fans all over the world, and now this. We just wish the rapper and the songwriter has an amazing year which seems to have started already.

GOT7’s BamBam Chosen As The Global Ambassador For NBA’s Golden State Warriors
The news came as a massive surprise for the kpop idol’s fans. Though previously as well, BamBam had given hints about his fondness for the American basketball team when he was rooting for Stephen Curry. However, this time it is BamBam who has been appointed as the global ambassador for the Golden State Warriors. Not only this, Stephen Curry has himself tweeted about this news, making it all the way more special.
BamBam announced this news on his social media handles. He posted pictures of him wearing the jersey along with a caption that said he is extremely honored to be named as the Golden States Warriors’ Global Ambassador. Also, he requested all to support the GSW players and that he will give his level best. However, it seems he has more surprises in his pockets. However, it’s not revealed yet, so that’s something to look forward to.

BamBam’s Extended Play Release Date
If you think that the thread of good news was over, then you are certainly wrong. Along with the Global Ambassador news, BamBam treated his fans with his comeback, which is his second EP, or Extended Play, which is ‘B’.
It is scheduled to release on 18th January 2022 at 6 pm KST. For India, it will be 2:30 pm, for the United Kingdom, it will be 9:00 am, and for the US and Canada, it will be 4:00 am. The title song will be ‘Slow Mo’. It can be seen that BamBam is gazing majestically at the camera with a warm yellow background behind it.

About More Works Of BamBam
Previously BamBam was under JYP Entertainment, where he trained for three years before becoming a member of GOT7. The group’s debut song was ‘Girls Girls Girls. Till now, he has been part of many endorsements which also played a part in his popularity. Not only this, but he also partnered with UNICEF to create an environment of support and awareness for the families affected due to the pandemic. However, in 2021 he left JYP Entertainment and joined hands with Abyss Company. His solo debut came in 2021 with Ribbon, his first extended play. The title track of the EP had the same name as well. His pre-digital single had Seulgi from the girl group Red Velvet which got released on 28th December 2021. It was named ‘Who Are You.
Apart from his singing career, BamBam has been part of many television shows along with films and dramas. He’s been part of dramas like Dream Knight and Don’t Dare To Dream. BamBam is the recipient of many awards like the Great Stars Awards for the Male Social Super Star Of The Year category. He also won the JOOX Thailand Music Awards for the Best Song Of The Year category. He recently also won the award for Line Melody Music Awards for the Melody Of The Year category for Ribbon.
