Goblin Slayer Season 2 Episode 5 – Recap And Review
The High Elf Archer’s older sister is getting and therefore she is allowed to invite her friends into this and thus, she decides to take the party to the wedding. While Gobling Slayer is hesitant to go and leave behind the goblins to run free, he is satisfied to go after destroying several goblin nests.
As they clear one of the nests of the goblins from a monastery, they stumble upon stone tablets with ancient writing on them. Since the temple in Water Town will be coming along their way to the destination of the wedding, the party is paid to bring the tablet to it by the guild.
Upon reaching the temple, we see that Sword Maiden who was once saved by the Goblin Slayer is happy to see him but is also irritated that the latter doesn’t show any affection to her. The Sword Maiden however sees the tablets and determines that the language refers to some ancient magic and seeing that it is not related to the goblins, the Goblin Slayer donates it to the temple.
As they continue their journey to the wedding destination, the Sword Maiden warns the party that the river path they are going to take has recently seen a sudden spike in the ships getting shrunk and therefore advises them to be very careful.
The journey on the boat continues and the party finds themselves in an upriver entering a fjord suddenly they are ambushed by something dropping boulders on them. The upcoming Goblin Slayer Season 2 episode will continue the voyage to the wedding destination but with this boulder-throwing obstacle, there is no way for the party to move forward but by taking them head on.
