Dantalian has finally received a blessing, which also marks the first ever blessing that Sherina has ever given. As we approach Give Me The Pacifier Chapter 74, Sherina’s time to return is also drawing near, and so she has started preparing for it by helping the Clown family in every way possible. Even getting a curse placed on her, how far will Sherina go?

Give Me The Pacifier Chapter 73 opens up with Dantalian asking Sherina to bless him. Blessing is a ritual done by high-ranking mages to accept a person as their disciple or as a colleague with whom they’ll share their life till death.

Sherina remembers that Blessings are given only when it’s important, so she didn’t give any blessings when she was Hera because giving blessings would mean that she would have to tie an invisible knot with someone, which would keep them together till the end of their life even if they go far away from each other.

Give Me The Pacifier Chapter 73: Recap

Sherina suddenly shouts that she isn’t Hera, but Dantalian doesn’t get phased because he doesn’t even understand what she means by that. Sherina hesitates because even if she’s just a child now, she was a ruler once, so she can’t just bless anyone. Dantalian bows his head to receive Sherina’s blessings, which shows how determined he is.

Sherina says that she can’t bless Dantalian because of her pronunciation, but Dantalian replies that he doesn’t mind it. Sherina finally agrees, and so she begins saying the words for giving the blessing. She then ends the blessing in the name of Sherina Clown, and then Dantalian steps away from her to see if anything has changed.

Dantalian seems dissatisfied, which could be because nothing changed in him. He then offers to share some of his magic power with Sherina, but she refuses because there’s no way the body of a child would be able to contain pure dark magic, and forcing dark magic into someone’s body has its consequences.

Dantalian gets a bit upset, and then he departs after telling Sherina to bless other people, too. Sherina gets confused. She just blessed Dantalian because she wanted to get out of this situation, not because she meant to do it. She then decides to stick close to Charente or Deshar from now to avoid blessing anyone else.

Sherina notices that Dantalian got out of the palace without even triggering the protective magic. She wonders if this was because of the magic circle at the back of Dantalian’s hand, as it would have allowed him to escape the mansion without using external magic. In short, Dantalian’s magic circle allows him to survive without external magic.

Sherina thinks that if she has to stop Dantalian from wandering in the mansion, then she would have to prohibit the use of magic power inside the mansion. Sherina decides to improve the protective magic on the mansion as she needs to repay the Clown House for always protecting her. A few weeks go by after this incident.

Sherina meets up with Charente’s clown and requests him to let her stay by his side. Charente stops for a moment and stares at Sherina because he can’t figure out why she wants to be with him. As for Sherina, she just wants to stick close to one of the Clowns because of the previously mentioned reason, and Deshar Clown is currently busy.

Sherina thinks of how Dantalian hasn’t visited her for a week since she started to fix the protective magic on the mansion. Sherina remembers that there are curses placed on the archmages who interfere with magic, and in this case, it’s Sherina, as she is also Hera, an archmage. She thinks that she should tell everyone about this and also write down all the precautions when she finally leaves everyone.

Charente takes Sherina with him, but he asks her to stay at one place only so that he won’t get disturbed by her. He then calls a servant to give Sherina a Pacifier made out of gold.
