Gayle King continues to observe her own Thanksgiving traditions. For the sixth year in a row, the CBS Mornings anchor and her niece Mekenzye Schwab continued their annual “Thanksgiving photo shoot” custom, posting the pictures to Instagram.
“Back by popular demand: Our annual Thanksgiving swimsuit photo shoot with fav niece @mknzschwb,” King wrote as the post’s caption on Monday. I was making fun of Mekenzye in a joke back in 2017, and it developed into something more.”
Posing in chic swimsuits, the 68-year-old journalist and her niece took part in the Cancun, Mexico, tradition. In the first picture, they are posing on a private beach walkway in yellow one-piece suits.
Gayle King’s Instagram photos are radiating happiness
King and her niece can be seen side by side in the next pictures on her Instagram carousel, which also feature a repeat of the two of them posing on the sandy path wearing yellow swimsuits.
In other pictures, King and Schwab are seen on a boat stairwell wearing black and white bathing suits. King posted a picture of herself wearing a one-shoulder halter one-piece with stripes in salmon pink, bright red, and white.
She even imitated the hand stroking Schwab’s hair as she relaxed by the pool. In her casual picture, Schwab chose a multicolored paisley bikini.
King showed off close-ups of their ass in a lighthearted photo, King wearing a colorful one-piece and Schwab an orange bikini with ruffles.
The last slide featured seductive pictures of King and Schwab with water trickling down their faces while taking a shower. Along with other pictures of the two of them relaxing and strolling by the boat, Schwab shared the identical pictures on her Instagram account.
“Can I at least get a consolation prize for attempting to keep up with my aunt?” Schwab wrote in a humorous caption.

Gayle King has shared pictures of her grandson on Instagram quite a bit, which is a testament to her love for him. Over the years, Gayle King has posted a number of adorable pictures.
Joyfully embracing the blessings of grandmotherhood, Gayle King said she is “living la vida Luca.” With the arrival of their son, Luca Lynn, in September 2021, the daughter, Kirby Bumpus, and son-in-law, Virgil Miller, welcomed the CBS Mornings co-host into a new chapter of their lives. On live television, King expressed her happiness at having a “favorite grandson” and said she was “over the moon.”
King reiterated her excitement about being a grandmother in a later CBS Mornings episode. She noted the commonality of these experiences while highlighting the special and profound joy that comes with having one’s own grandchild.
