Gaikotsu Kishi-sama, Tadaima Chapter 60 will continue with the adventures of our protagonist Arc and his teammate Arian, and this time they are going to save the Dolant village but knowing these two, an addition of some good humor is to be expected.
So far in the series, Arc is the strongest, and that is to be expected as he’s the Reincarnation of a maxed-level player, but now a new person has appeared with the same skills as him, which begs the question of whether that person is also a player.
This question has not been answered yet, so we can expect some action in the upcoming chapters as Arc tries to get his answers. The last chapter was filled with quality humor and some important plot points, and the following Chapter is expected to be even better, so stay tuned!
Gaikotsu Kishi-sama, Tadaima Chapter 59 “Dolant Village, Again”: Recap
The chapter opens up with Arc and Arian completing the mission of hunting one murder drill rabbit. Arc gets a hold of the rabbit, and Arian shoots it dead using her bow, but as she was using the bow after a long time, she ends up hitting Arc twice, but Arc doesn’t get affected by it.
They get homemade pies as a mission completion reward, and Arc gets happy about it. Arian asks him how he can have so much fun.
Arc gets puzzled and asks Arian what she means. She says that even though they are under house arrest, the fact that they can’t do about their Brethren suffering due to the holy kingdom still bothers her.
Arc says that he understands what Arian means, but he believes that the decision of the elders is right. Arian then asks Arc how he’s doing, and he just replies that he had a fulfilling day.
Arian says that she didn’t mean to ask about his day. She meant to ask about “that matter.” Arc laughs and says that that matter made him realize that the world is wide. He further explains that after seeing the techniques used by the old pop, he’s sure that the pop is a drifter.
Arc wonders why despite having immense power, the old pop did not overpower and defeat them. He thinks that they are just enjoying the strategy simulation.
Arc then wonders if they played a different game, and he gets lost in thought. Arian asks him if he’s okay, and he says that he just feels a bit dizzy. Arc then asks Arian if she reported the matter to the higher-ups, and she replies that she didn’t because it would cause trouble for Arc.
Suddenly a whisper bird arrives from Dylan. The bird announces that the investigation on Arian has ended, and she has been freed from house arrest.
The whisper bird then tells Arc to visit Dolant village, where Dylan will be waiting for him. Arc and Arian inform Glenis and then depart for Dolant village together. After a while, Arc and Arian arrive at the village gate, but they get stopped by the guards. Arc tells Arian that these guards must be new that’s why they don’t know them.
Arian gets angry at the guards, and so she starts arguing with them, which causes one of the guards to attack her. Arc stops the guard and accidentally breaks his arm. He apologizes to the guard and immediately heals it.
The guards feel as if they are being mocked. They call some reinforcements and challenge them. Arian also gets angry and accepts their challenge.
Meanwhile, Dolant and Dylan discuss the current state of the village and prepare some plans to deal with it. Suddenly someone comes rushing towards their room and tells them that there’s a quarrel at the front gate. They rush towards the front gate only to be utterly disappointed at seeing Arc and Arian fighting the village guards.
