The previous chapter presented so many different things, and it’s baffling, so let me break down one by one the things that really caught me with this chapter. For instance the death scene, we will start with the end and make our way to the beginning. I want you guys to remember the exact words that came out of Jabber’s mouth.
We see him asking if Zanka got hit by his left claw when he is in serious mode. His left claw comes with three types; one is a poison that takes away the senses. We experienced that for the first time when we fought him, and Zanka’s senses were all ineffective.
Two, a poison that makes the opponent high, we have an experience that, too, Jabber put it on himself when he brought out the inner Jabber, and last but not least, the toxic substance from before… if you guys can’t tell what the toxic substance is, it is the stuff that was floating around, the stuff that was underneath the ground.
Gachiakuta Chapter 56: Recap and Review
That is why before you even think that he is dead, I am gonna tell you that this is its hallucinogen. With this, he is trying to break out of that Inner Zanka that he knows he is there because he saw glimpses of it, and he is very, very interested in that. When he stabbed himself before it, it didn’t kill him, and he literally impelled himself so that way the full “him” could come out.
I believe that we are gonna see the back story of Zanka after all this because, if you remember, Zanka literally caught Jabber’s claws with his teeth. He said that he is not done yet until he has proven himself he is not dying.
This shows that there is somebody very important to Zanka, more important than Engine, somebody, who has the same uniform essentially, but who is she? Who could that be? I am very curious as to who this is because this is going to introduce us to a backstory that we haven’t got yet.
It has been quite a few chapters since we dove into somebody’s backstory. Obviously, that is Amo, but now we are diving into the main support character’s background.
This is also the panel where we see the masterpiece of Urana Senseu. Wow! There were so many details. You should look at the intricacies of the art, and you should look at the details of the face. It looks absolutely astonishing.
Gachiakuta Chapter 58: Spoilers and Expectations
In this chapter, we see that Jabber understands how strong Zanka really is and just knows that he could take it to a whole new level because if you saw when Zanka stuck him with the love stick, it cracked a little bit, and he went flying.
You see that Jabber knows that there is more to him than meets the eye, and that is also why he is not going to kill him this time because, of course, he knows that there is more to this than he could ever dream of.
