Futoku No Guild Episode 8 – Recap
Futoku No Guild Episode 8 starts with Kiku facing the spider in the forest that is a threat to the nearby villagers and actually gets stabbed with one of its sharp legs. However, he has prepared a trap for it with Toki’s fire nearby the house in the forest and Kiku drags the Spider to the trap. While running away from the spider and luring it to the trap, Kiku learns that he is excellent at parkour but If he gets even one hit from the spider, he will die.
Eventually, he leads the spider to the trap where Toki is waiting but she is distressed as she wants to go to the toilet. With Toki’s spell, the house explodes killing the Spider but it also burns Toki’s clothes she asks Kiku to cover her up while hugging her and waiting until she recovers strength.
Whereas for the second half of the episode, we see Hitamu visiting the recovering Kiku from the spider stab, and asks him to come with her into the shopping district. There we learn that Hitamu is popular with the shoppers and the town because the civilians have lewd thoughts about her and even give her free stuff.
It turns out that Hitamu took Kiku out for the shopping adventure because she was worried about him being demotivated by the quests he does to protect the town and reminds him that the town is grateful for the things that Kiku does.
