Recap
As the girls prepare to depart school, Yoshida quips that one of them cried throughout their graduation photo. He wishes her and Sawako luck on their entrance test as Kurumi and Kento approach them.
They laugh as he hopes Yano will and advises them not to miss him too much. Then Kurumi apologizes for everything she did to the ladies to get Kazehaya. They pardon her and say it’s in the distant past. Kurumi accepts Sawako’s statement that friends become friends before they realize it.
Afterward, Yano reveals to Yoshida and Sawako that she confessed to Pin but was turned down. She acknowledges crying but expresses gratitude for their support because she wouldn’t have been able to admit it without it.
When they get to the bridge, Yano and Yoshida recall that they first discussed Sawako there in their first year. According to Sawako, before she met the two girls, her only objective was for people to recall her real name; however, once she grew close to them, she didn’t mind if they called her Sadako as she had them.
They grin as a result of being moved. When the Sapporo results are finally available, Sawako and Kurumi walk to see them while holding hands. They embrace when they realize that both of them have already died.
Kazehaya had been waiting for her when Sawako rushed over to greet her. As they walk home holding hands, Sawako realizes that the day of their separation is getting closer. Yano chooses to keep her train to Tokyo a secret from others, but Yoshida and Sawako learn about it anyhow and rush to meet her.
For attempting to depart without telling them, Yoshida chastises her. Yano claims she was aware she would weep if they parted ways with her, but Sawako holds her hand and expresses gratitude for everything. When Yano’s train comes, they begin to sob.
When things get difficult, she promises to keep them in mind, and they assure her that she will be alright. Sawako brightens as she views her class pictures that evening while packing up her room. As he packs their class photos, Kazehaya calls her and begs for her assistance in moving to his new residence.
He promises to get her a duplicate key when they get to his new residence. She notices the beanie she had given him as they unload, and he claims to have brought anything she had given him.
They take a break and enjoy lunch together. She claims she finally has a goal for herself, and he claims her pupils will respect her. He responds to her joke that many females will swarm around him by saying that even she will be popular.
It is late when they unloaded, so he follows her home. She embraces him halfway through and says she isn’t ready to return home yet but believes they will be okay even if they are apart. She replies “yes” when he questions if she truly means it.
She tells her mom she won’t return home in a phone conversation. Before approving it, her mother ensures it’s what she desires again. Sawako and Kazehaya occupy a mattress, and while he falls asleep, she smiles at him.
From Me to You Season 2: renewed or canceled
Since the Japanese serial just arrived on Netflix, it is not surprising that Netflix has not yet announced the renewal of From Me to You. It is doubtful that the series will be extended for a second season, regardless of how well it does on Netflix. This is because the manga was covered in twelve segments.
From Me to You: Where to watch
From Me to You episodes are streaming via Netflix only.
