Forza Horizon 6 has generated an estimated $534.3 million in premium revenue, putting Playground Games’ racing title among the biggest-selling premium games of 2026. The estimate comes from Alinea Analytics’ latest data covering Steam, Xbox and PlayStation. The game has also sold an estimated 7.4 million copies, according to Alinea’s earlier platform estimates.

The performance is particularly notable because Forza Horizon 6 has still not launched on PS5. The game released on Xbox Series X|S and PC on May 19, with the Premium Edition offering early access from May 15. Microsoft and Playground Games confirmed before launch that a PS5 version would follow later.

Alinea’s earlier data estimated that 4 million of the game’s 7.4 million copies came through Xbox platforms, including Xbox consoles, Windows PC and Game Pass players who purchased the Premium Upgrade Bundle, while Steam accounted for approximately 3.4 million copies.

The game’s strong performance comes despite its availability through Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass at launch, giving subscribers access to the standard edition without purchasing the full game separately. Playground Games has also continued expanding the game with new content, including the September British Automotive update and its permanent Drift Attack mode.

The eventual PS5 release could give Forza Horizon 6 another opportunity to expand its audience. Playground Games continues to list the PS5 version as arriving later in 2026, while the PlayStation Store currently lists its release date as yet to be determined.
