Respawn Entertainment and Electronic Arts have officially revealed the gameplay trailer for Apex Legends: Marked, offering players a detailed look at the next season’s biggest additions before its launch on August 4. The update introduces a significant rework for Bloodhound, extensive changes to the World’s Edge map, refreshed looting systems, and balance updates for several Legends.
The newly released trailer highlights the season’s emphasis on stealth, tracking, and aggressive engagements, with Bloodhound taking center stage as the “ultimate predator.”
Alongside the Legend overhaul, Respawn is refreshing one of the game’s most recognizable battle royale maps while introducing new mechanics designed to make matches faster and more strategic. The new season will be available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via the EA App, Steam, and the Epic Games Store.
Bloodhound evolves into Apex Legends’ ultimate hunter
The headline feature of Apex Legends: Marked is a complete overhaul of Bloodhound’s abilities. According to Respawn Entertainment, the tracker has been “blessed by the Allfather,” transforming the Legend into a more dangerous hunter capable of locating enemies with greater precision.
The revamped passive ability now leaves glowing trails behind enemy squads, while White Ravens can scout farther across the battlefield. Bloodhound’s Tactical scan has also been enhanced to provide longer full-body scans, helping squads maintain sight of fleeing opponents.
The biggest addition comes through the new Allfather’s Cloak Ultimate, which cloaks nearby teammates while granting increased movement speed and threat vision, creating new opportunities for coordinated ambushes.
World’s Edge receives new locations and gameplay improvements
Respawn is also introducing a substantial overhaul to World’s Edge, giving the map a fresh visual identity inspired by ancient mythology and illuminated by an aurora-filled night sky.
Three new points of interest join the battlefield, including a redesigned Climatizer, the combat-focused War Camp, and Tree Settlement, which introduces additional vertical movement opportunities. Several classic locations also return, with Sorting Factory and Construction making a comeback in Fragment, while Big Maude has been relocated above Landslide.

The update also brings Corrupted Attachments, offering stronger late-game weapon upgrades that come with meaningful trade-offs. Respawn has streamlined the looting experience by removing Support and Assault bins, Explosive Holds, wildlife loot, and loot bin resets, allowing players to spend less time searching for equipment and more time engaging in combat.
Loba and Rampart also receive notable improvements, with Loba’s abilities offering quicker escapes and more frequent Black Market usage, while Rampart gains increased mobility when using Sheila alongside stronger and faster-deploying Amped Walls.
Apex Legends: Marked launches on August 4, with the full gameplay trailer now available on the game’s official YouTube channel.
