Apple TV+ has developed a knack for doing science fiction shows with high budgets, attractive and compelling plotlines. Today, we must refer to For All Mankind Season 4, a futuristic drama that takes us to a different timeline in the development of mankind. Instead of the Americans getting to the Moon first in the 1960s, the Soviets, and the Commies won the space race.
This series, developed by Matt Wolpert and Ronald D. Moore, features Joel Kinnaman, Wrenn Schmidt, Shantel VanSanten, Coral Peña, Michael Dorman, and Sarah Jones.
NASA is devastated about the fact that the Russians beat them in the space race, so they scramble to get the upper hand in the cosmos. Now, ahead of the premiere of this series, we prepared for you a few details you should know to stay in touch with what’s ahead.
Preview
For season four, we continue the space race between the Russians and the Americans. Surprisingly, Ted Kennedy makes it to the White House as president of the United States. We move forward in time to 2003, and mankind has managed to settle all over the cosmos: On Mars, and the Moon, and has managed to develop mining operations from asteroids gathering precious metals that have strategic advantages.
As such, there’s a bit of tension between the US and Russia when it comes to who has the upper hand in outer space, and who can develop a colony on Mars. As events on Earth tend to shift, the Russian inner stability is up for grabs, and the Americans are walking on eggshells.
Cast
As stated earlier, for Season four, we can expect the return —with enhanced age makeup— of Jodi Balfour, Joel Kinnaman, Edi Gathegi, Casey W. Johnson, Krys Marshall, Sonya Walger, Coral Peña, as well as some new faces like Toby Kebbell, Daniel Stern, Tyner Rushing, and Svetlana Efremova.
