After seven long years of waiting, Cylia and Ethan are finally going to reunite, and the fans are all excited to witness this magical moment. 7 years back, Cylia got falsely accused of hurting Ethan and got the punishment that she would need to defeat Lichtlein if she ever wanted to return to the city, but now it’s finally over as Cylia has defeated Lichtlein in a decisive battle. Cylia has also been ordered to find the Sylorian Harp, the motives behind which remain unknown.
In Flowers Of Worship Chapter 23, we see Cylia defeating Lichtlein and Ethan preparing for their wedding. Seven years have passed, and so Ethan has now grown up, and he believes he’s prepared to finally marry the girl he loves so much. Some mysteries arise when Ethan takes off to visit the casino before the arrival of Cylia, where he gets greeted by some strange figure. Has Ethan taken some wicked path to catch up to Cylia while she wasn’t around?
Flowers Of Worship Chapter 23: Recap
7 years have passed since Cylia was sent to kill the dragon named Lichtlein as a punishment for her act of harming Ethan Gosling. Even though Cylia wasn’t guilty, she still accepted the blame and now she has come close to her end goal. After fighting for days and nights endlessly with the hope of returning to Ethan one day, Cylia pushed through everything, and now she has finally reached the dragon’s lair.
All the soldiers charge forward to fight off the monsters when Lichtlein rises from the dust and asks who dared to disturb him. All the soldiers get scared and run away while Lichtlein prepares to attack them with dragon breath as their punishment for setting foot in his lair.
Cylia goes on the offensive and asks everyone to fall back. She dashes towards Lichtlein while cutting through his fire and quickly gets close to his mouth. Lichtlein shouts at her as he believes it’s a foolish move from her, but Cylia instantly cuts through his head and passes through. Cylia then orders everyone to look out for other monsters and clear the lair.
The superior soldiers all run towards Cylia and ask her if she’s okay, as she’s covered in blood. Some of them wonder if the blood is poisonous, while some get angry at Cylia for being so reckless, but Cylia calms them down by saying that she’s alright.
Cylia asks the soldiers if they have found the Sylorian harp yet, and so they reply that Sophia has gone with a few soldiers to look for it. The soldiers all wonder why the king would need the Sylorian harp as their main objective was defeating Lichtlein, which they already achieved. They think it’s suspicious as the Sylorian harp is considered can provide happiness to anyone who owns it, but no one who has had their hands on it has ended well. Cylia also feels suspicious, but she still orders everyone to collect the Harp, and then they’ll return.
Meanwhile, back at the castle, Ethan has started preparing for his wedding with Cylia, just as he promised her seven years back. Ryssen asks Ethan if it’s really happy, and so Ethan replies that he has waited 7 years for this very moment, and so he’s filled with Joy. He thinks about how many things have changed now. For instance, he’s taller than Cylia now, but his heart still beats like crazy whenever he thinks about her. He wonders if Cylia would finally be able to see him as a man now.
Rodd comes in and tells Ethan that the daughter of Marquis Xandria has requested tea. Requesting for tea is a trend among ladies in Yenson, and the person being requested must feel grateful about it. So many requests for tea have been arriving for Ethan as every lady wants to be with him as they see Cylia incompatible with him, which makes Ethan angry. Ethan shouts at Rodd to decline all requests for tea.
Rodd gets scared at seeing Ethan so angry, and so he apologizes and agrees to his request. Ethan then takes his leave from the Castle. Ryness asks Ethan if he’s going to “that place” before his wedding while trying to stop him, but Ethan leaves anyway and arrives at Casino, where a mysterious figure is waiting for him.
