FLCL Season 4 Epiose 1 Recap

The last episode 1 of FLCL opens with Shin. He was listening to music from the music player. Suddenly, his father ordered him to deliver the sushi to the Yakuza Kumi office. Before leaving for the delivery, Shin encounters a strange man wearing a black suit. After this, we discover that Mr. Mayor loves the sushi at this place. Therefore, he has come here with his security. Shin blushed after he saw a young lady come out of his vehicle.

Shin returned to the restaurant after his delivery and was shocked that Mr. Mayor was still there. His father asked him to help with the customers. And as a good boy, he agreed without giving a second thought. We noticed Shin was not good at making sushi. He struggled to cut a single fish. His father is an expert in sushi making and serves sushi to the customers on time. You can clearly see the genuine happiness on the Mayor’s face after tasting the sushi. He can even die for this sushi if required.

Mr. Mayor went crazy after eating sushi and asked an owner to serve him a drink. Shin’s father asked Shin to serve them beer. And he did it.

Haru-chan offers to help Shin serve beer to Mr. Mayor. After seeing Haru-Chan so near to him, Shin blushes badly. It is a sign that our boy is in love. We see Mr. Mayor and Haru-Chan discussing work and future meetings.

Shin’s friend visited him in his father’s restaurant and asked him for a minute. She brought his order and apologized for her previous behavior. He likes it and appreciates her help. They discuss the knife she brought for him, which will help Shin avoid any difficulties while cutting fish.

Haru-Chan appears drunk and is causing trouble for Shin, who remains at the back of the restaurant. They engaged in a lively conversation for some time. Later, we see Haru-Chan purposely kissing him. After the kiss, a single horn grows on Shin’s head. Haru-Chan says, “She finally found,” and left him. She leaves Shin confused as he isn’t sure what happened to him.

After this incident, we see Shin sitting near a lake and trying to catch a fish. From nowhere, Shonari came to have a small chitchat with him. Mr. Mayor and Haru-Chan returned to the sushi restaurant for another pleasant visit. They were enjoying their sushi. After seeing Haru-Chan, Shin’s forehead horn again grows up. He says, “What is the deal of that lady.” Later, Haru-Chan caused significant trouble for the Mayor.

She replaced the fish on the sushi with the pen drive, and Mr Yamaguchi ate it. It may cause the Medical mechanical operating system to shut down. And it was all the plan for Haru-Chan. Haru betrays Mr. Mayor and hits him on the head. The first episode of Season 4 FLCL ends with Shin and his friends fighting the Mayor’s security force.
