The summer festivities have officially arrived in Fire Emblem Shadows, with Nintendo launching a major seasonal update packed with new gameplay features, limited-time rewards, and a brand-new Disciple. Announced through Nintendo’s official News page, the Summer Fair update introduces Disciple Support Conversations, giving players a new way to learn more about their favorite characters while earning useful in-game rewards.

Alongside the new relationship system, players can take part in special Summer Fair challenges to collect Tea, weapons, Platinum Chests, and other event-exclusive items. The update also launches a new Season Pass featuring Tiki: Lucid Heir, a powerful magical Disciple capable of summoning a Dragon Fighter during battle. In addition, limited-time Featured Disciple Soul events will spotlight popular characters like Corrin and Lyn, making this one of the game’s biggest seasonal updates so far.

According to Nintendo’s official announcement, the event is designed to reward both returning players and newcomers with plenty of content throughout the celebration.

Disciple Support Conversations and Summer Fair rewards headline the update

One of the biggest additions in the Summer Fair update is the new Disciple Support Conversations feature. Players can now unlock conversations between Disciples to discover more about their relationships and personal stories. At launch, 23 Disciples support this feature, with Nintendo confirming that more characters will be added in future updates.

Each Disciple includes three support levels—C, B, and A. Advancing through each rank rewards players with gifts while revealing additional character interactions. To unlock these conversations, players must spend Tea, which can be earned through daily logins and special in-game challenges.

The Summer Fair celebration also includes several limited-time rewards. Players who log in for the first time during the event receive 10 Platinum Chests. Daily login bonuses award up to 14 Tea, while completing the first battle each day grants additional Tea through Daily Challenges for up to five days.

Season Challenges provide even more exclusive rewards, including the ★4 Ice Cream Axe, the ★6 Summer Fair Staff, and up to 15 additional Tea for completing event objectives.

Featured Disciple Souls and Tiki: Lucid Heir join the celebration

The event also introduces limited-time Featured Disciple Soul banners. Volume 1, available from June 25 at 11 p.m. PT through June 30 at 10:59 p.m. PT, increases the appearance rate of Corrin: Fate Dragon and Lyn: Plains Wind Souls in Gold Chests, making it easier for players to recruit them.

Nintendo has also confirmed Volume 2, running from June 30 through July 7, will feature additional Disciples from previous Season Passes, although the full lineup will be revealed in a future update.

Another major highlight is the arrival of Tiki: Lucid Heir, the newest Disciple introduced through the latest Season Pass. Tiki specializes in magical attacks and can summon a Dragon Fighter to assist during combat, adding another strategic option for players.

Recruiting Tiki requires collecting 12 Disciple Souls. Three Souls are available through free progression in the Season Pass, while the remaining nine can be earned through the Premium Pass, following the same structure as previous seasons.

Nintendo said the Summer Fair offers the ideal opportunity for both veteran players and newcomers to experience everything Fire Emblem Shadows has to offer, combining new storytelling features with generous seasonal rewards and fresh characters. The full announcement was published on Nintendo’s official News page.
