The Fast and Furious universe just welcomed a new addition to their ever-expanding family, and it’s none other than Captain Marvel herself. Brie Larson recently announced that she had joined the long-running Fast and Furious franchise. Taking to her Instagram, Brie posted the same photo of her with Vin Diesel that the latter posted too.
The caption under Brie’s post reads, “excited doesn’t even begin to explain how I feel about joining the Fast family.” Thanking the cast and crew as well as Vin for the welcome, Brie wrote, “…thank you for welcoming me in with so much kindness and excitement, @vindiesel.” Ending the caption with a tease, she added, “can’t wait to share more (when I can).”
That latter part of the caption teases the fans with some hope for some news regarding F&F 10. As for what character Brie will be playing in the next F&F installment, we have no idea yet. However, we may soon learn a thing or two about that and more if Brie’s caption is any hint.
What Role Will Brie Larson Play In The Next Fast And Furious Outing?
As is the trend with the Fast and Furious movies, Brie Larson’s character in the final movie just might be someone from one of the main characters’ long-lost family members. In fact, many fans have already started theorizing that she might be playing Brian’s long-lost sister. If not, we can safely speculate her character to eventually become a part of the family by the end. In any case, Brie’s inclusion in this bonkers franchise adds even more hype for the ultimate entry.
Additionally, Vin Diesel’s IG post welcoming Brie to the family only adds to the excitement. In the sweet welcome message, Vin praises Brie with affection while building great hype for her role. Vin Diesel calls Brie’s addition to the franchise something the fans might not have expected but yearned for. He goes on to add that fans will not believe just now timeless and amazing her character will be to the universe’s mythology.
