The show will take the singles back to the tropical island, where they will be exploring new relationships while also getting an unexpected visit from one of their ex-partners, in a similar style to its British version.
The Double Dutch version of the MTV reality show debuted on August 28, 2016, and the British version of the program debuted on the streaming service in 2014. Ex On The Beach’s drama-filled Dutch translation includes hits from both Belgium and the Netherlands.
MTV has been releasing new seasons of Double Dutch every year, and the most recent season 9, debuted on May 14th, 2023, demonstrating that the spin-off is gaining just as much attention as the primary reality show.

On June 12th, 2022, the previous season premiered and concluded with almost eleven episodes. Jennifer, Joao, Luca, Nick, Lynn, Tcheutche, and Stevie, former finalists, had traveled to the island in search of love. Season 8 of Double Dutch had cast members who were comparatively older than those in the current season.
Fans were happy to see the show return for another season when MTV announced the debut date for the 8th season through the media on April 14th, 2022.
Joyce, Luca, Nick, Stevie, Tcheutche, Joo, and Jennifer were the originals from season 8. The season’s variation on the reality show wasn’t very novel. Giving the ex-players who entered the game an additional ability would have given them an advantage over the show’s initial cast members.
