“Let him Cook” is something many fans would have said after finishing the last chapter of “Everyone Else Is A Returnee,” as our protagonist Yoo Ilhan is cooking food for a couple he just met. Why he is in such a position will be answered in the upcoming chapter as Ilhan takes the readers back in time. Nonetheless, the ending was quite amusing, which is basically the essence of this whole manhwa.
Aside from the funny stuff, there’s a new revelation as we learn that there are people other than Ilhan who are supervised by angels. The first such person to be introduced is a girl named Na Yoona, who doesn’t look that strong so far. Na Yoona has only been portrayed as a cute and innocent girl, so it would be interesting to know what she’s truly capable of.
Yoo Ilhan is making steady progress as he finishes more quests and gets points. His hard work has made him stronger, but he is still far from his final goal, which is to become a higher being and routine with Lita. What new obstacles will our protagonist face, and how will he break through for his goals? We await the new chapter with excitement to know more.
Everyone Else Is A Returnee Chapter 35: Recap
The chapter opens up with Ilhan fighting off against some lizard monsters who want to take over the world. Ilhan makes quick work of them but still gains very less experience points. He wonders how these creatures were lower level than the black leopard even though they can change their surroundings. Ertha explains that mutant monsters are much stronger in comparison to their levels. Ilhan decides to walk away, but a group of people surround him and start cheering for him; the most notorious among the crowd is a couple who Ilhan saw earlier.
Ertha senses waves of jealousy, and so Ilhan walks away from the people as he hates couples and leaves the rest of the monsters to them. A girl from the crowd gets amazed by Ilhan’s skills and asks everyone if they know his level to find out if he has gone through a tertiary title change. Ilhan continues to slay monsters and gains even more points, but he still feels anxious as to what would happen if he left even one of the lizards alive. He wonders if he will leave 1 lizard alive, and then it will cause another mutant incident, but Ertha gets annoyed at his wild imagination.
Ilhan works harder and finally finishes all the monsters. He then stores some of the monster’s corpses despite Ertha’s warning, but he soon learns his lesson when the weight of his storage makes him fall into the ground. To avoid something like this from happening again, Ilhan requests Ertha to get him an option to control the weight of the bag. Ilhan then returns to his base and marks the sky quest proxy mission as completed. He earns extra rewards for being the most successful aside from his usual upgrades.
Ertha summons two more angels to help her perform mana craft, and so they use mana to make Ilhan’s bag’s weight adjustable. One of the angels tells Ilhan that she saw her on the battlefield as the one she supervises was also present there. This revelation surprises Ilhan as he never knew that there were other people with angels too.
Ertha confirms that there are other humans, too, with rare and special abilities who are protected by angels for Earth’s sake. The angel tells Ilhan that the one she supervises is called “Na Yoona” and requests him to help her the next time they cross paths, as it would be beneficial for him because Na Yoona is blessed by the goddess of beauty.
Ertha warns the angel not to reveal any information about Ilhan to anyone, which makes her suspicious that Ertha has a crush on Ilhan because it is not like her to worry about a lower being. Ertha denies the blame, and so Paytha takes her leave. Ertha then gives Ilhan his special reward called “superhuman strength”. They both then return to their home by plane, but despite them trying to avoid Na Yoon, they still end up seeing her.
