Epic Seven is preparing for a major October as Smilegate gears up for the game’s official Steam launch on October 29, 2026. The release will introduce a new server called Foundry, alongside progression bonuses and in-game rewards designed to help players get started. A playable demo is also available on Steam until October 26, giving newcomers an opportunity to try the turn-based RPG before launch.

The announcements arrive as Epic Seven prepares to host its sixth annual World Championship. The E7WC 2026 Group Stage begins on October 10, bringing together 28 players who qualified through preliminary rounds. With a $100,000 prize pool and the finals scheduled for November in South Korea, the tournament adds a major competitive event to the game’s October schedule.

Smilegate has also introduced Mei Lin, a new collaboration Hero from Chaos Zero Nightmare. The character joins the roster after Haru and Renoa, marking the third collaboration Hero from the title. These announcements give players several reasons to return to Epic Seven this month, whether they are interested in competitive play, character collection, or the upcoming Steam release.

EPIC SEVEN STEAM LAUNCH ADDS A NEW SERVER AND PLAYER REWARDS

The new Foundry server will open alongside the Steam release and will also be accessible through the STOVE PC Client and mobile devices. Players can use their existing account data to play on Steam, while the new server offers a separate starting point for those entering the game.

Launch rewards include a Settlement Support Buff Event that increases experience gains by 30%. Players who reach Account Rank 70 can obtain the Hero Luna, while the campaign also offers 20 free daily summons. Login bonuses and activities tied to Arena matches will provide equipment, character-growth materials, and Hero skins based on accumulated points.

The Steam demo is available from October 8 at 09:00 UTC through October 26 at 23:59 UTC as part of Steam Next Fest 2026. It lets players experience the main story and activities including Brawl, God of Battle’s Colosseum, and Automaton Tower. Demo progress will not carry over to the full release. Players can find the demo on Steam.

EPIC SEVEN WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP 2026 BEGINS OCTOBER 10

The E7WC 2026 Group Stage will take place across four dates: October 10, 11, 17, and 18. The 28 qualified competitors represent the Global, Europe, Korea, Japan, and Asia servers, competing in Epic Seven’s real-time PvP mode, World Arena.

Players will be divided into groups of four using a double-elimination format. The top two from each group will advance to the Knockout Stage, joining Hazamarei and MagicQi, who secured direct qualification as the champion and runner-up of Epic Seven Masters 2026.

The finals are scheduled for November 28 at the Lotte Cinema World Tower Super Plex in Jamsil, South Korea. The tournament’s $100,000 prize pool includes $50,000 for the champion, who will also receive a special in-game skin for a Hero of their choice.

Fans can follow the matches through livestreams in four languages. Twitch viewers can participate in Drops events and use exclusive coupon codes revealed during broadcasts, while an in-game Match Prediction Event will offer additional rewards for predicting results.

The latest update also introduces Mei Lin from Chaos Zero Nightmare as the third collaboration Hero from the game. Following Haru and Renoa, her arrival expands the crossover roster and brings another character from the related title into Epic Seven.

Players can find further announcements, event details, and updates through the official Epic Seven community and the game’s official YouTube channel.
