Following the last episode’s recoupling twist, Love Island Season 8 Episode 16 will be returning to our screens, and fans can expect plenty of drama. Remi Lambert is the most recent Love Island contestant to exit the villa. Danica Taylor proceeded to share who she would like to date in Episode 15. The dancer’s decision meant that someone from the Love Island 2022 contestants was going to be eliminated. Of course, Danica had two single guys – Davide Sanclimenti and Remi Lambert – with whom she might easily pair up. Jacques O’Neill and Luca Bish, on the other hand, were more of her style.
After newcomer Danica Taylor chose Luca Bish as her partner, Gemma Owen was forced to choose someone else – Davide Sanclimenti. The recoupling bothered Luca, who made it obvious to Danica that he only has feelings for Gemma. After a dramatic fallout with Ekin-Su Cülcülolu last week over her secret meeting with new boy Jay Young, Davide was a singleton on the island. Tasha Ghouri picked Andrew Le Page, Amber Beckford chose Dami Hope, and Paige Thorne picked Jacques O’Neil among the predictable selections.
Episode 15 Recap
Before diving into Love Island Season 8 Episode 16, let’s quickly do a recap of the previous Episode. In Episode 15, Danica had to choose who she wanted to couple up with after just being on the island for a few hours. Despite the fact that there were two available boys, Dan stated that she preferred Luca since he was more like the type of man she typically dates and she wished to see if there was something there. Luca, on the other hand, was not pleased, as he murmured under his voice while sitting next to her – awkward!
Following her break-up from Davi, Ekin-Su Cülcülolu chose to couple up with Jay Younger, and the recoupling began. Tasha Ghouri was next, and she picked Andrew Le Pa. Paige Thorne opted to stay with Jacques O’Neil, while Amber Beckford made the decision to stay with Dami Hope. With her partner Luca now gone, Gemma Owen decided to save Davide, believing that his personality had recently shined through. Indiyah Polack was left to make the final decision, revealing whether she wanted to stay with Ikenna Ekwonna or change course and date Reese Witherspoon.
Finally, the hotel waitress announced that she would remain with her original man, implying that Remi would return home. Danica interacted with Davide, Jacques, and Ikenna, who just couldn’t take his eyes away from her lips. Dami admitted to Jay that he was feeling Indiyah, which raised the possibility of a new romance on the horizon. Ekin-Su invited Dami to talk to Indiyah as they sat around the fire pit. When she spotted Amber approaching, she quickly changed the conversation. Following the conclusion of the episode, viewers were asked to vote for their favorite girl and guy, with those who received the fewest votes risking being dumped.
