Edens Zero chapter 233 will be the arc that will restore Hamora to her former self as she is the only one in the group without her memories of the last timeline. Everyone in the Edens group has wanted what they had wished for in-universe zero, but there is always an outlier. And for this case, it happens to be Homura, one of the brightest.
Though, Shiki was dealing with other things before he met Homura. The guy that he had killed the last time and got killed by was in front of him. Edens Zero chapter 232 introduced to us the remaining cast and their new backstories. And their tales proved that anything could be possible in the Universe 0. They went over their now true events of life one by one, and it was nice to see that the characters that were facing difficulties in the past now had a much better outcome.
And then there was Homura. She had been dressed in her old attire by her friends, whom she thinks of as strangers. She tells her events of the past and how her teacher, Valkyrie, had died in the past. It was during her days of training that she went a little overboard against the next in line for Shogun.
The Shogun decided it was a transgression but was given a reason to reconsider his decision. But the Shogun being the cruel ruler, gave the order to have her beheaded.
Valkyrie pleaded that Homura’s life be spared, and she is left from punishment. In return, Valkyrie requested that she should be executed in her place, traumatizing Homura and making her the person she had become in this timeline.

Edens Zero chapter 233 will have the group confronting Kurenai, who appeared out of nowhere. The title of the next chapter hinted that the next chapter might bring Humora’s memory back. But more than that, what’s more surprising was how the way the last chapter ended, with Shiki and Homura getting cold feet.
The group had left to look for Kurenai in the Sun jewel planet, but that place was not as they remembered. The streets were empty with no soul in sight, messages everywhere saying the place was quarantined with no one allowed to come out. And when this didn’t make any sense, the Punishers showed themselves to them.
Punishers in this world were part of Kurenai’s army in the last timeline. Three in that group are Nino, Garrot, and Baku. And their leader was none other than Kurenai, with her usual charisma. How will the group break it to her that they need her help? More importantly, does she still possess the power that will help Kurenai regain her memories?
