EastEnders Monday, 19 December Spoiler Recap
In Monday’s EastEnders episode, Alfie Moon takes back the opportunity to spend time with Kat Slater. Alfie Moon is preparing for the Albert Square panto, but he is in a depressed frame of mind. He looked to have failed in his grand plan to woo Kat Slater into returning to him by acting as Prince Carlo to her Snow White.
Co-producer of the pantomime Sharon Watts requested that Honey Mitchell take the lead position after she performed brilliantly in the audition for the part. When Honey becomes unexpectedly ill, it appears that Alfie’s Christmas wish might perhaps come true after all, as he manages to convince Kat to take over.
Things are not going nicely with the performance preparations! Kim Fox and Felix Baker are arguing over who will perform a solo, and Harvey Monroe is griping about how tight his outfit is. Alfie ignores any complaints from his cast because he is too preoccupied with trying to convince Kat to practice the kiss between Prince Carlo and Snow White.
Kat is unwilling to practice the kiss scene since she is fed up with Alfie’s bullshit. The script is dropped when they all mount the stage, forcing Kat and Alfie to improvise. Alfie makes a major speech in the end, and it’s obvious from what he says how much he still loves Kat.
He delicately leans in for a kiss, but will Kat offer him the Christmas magic he’s been hoping for at last? Janine Butcher is upset that her fiancé Mick Slater decided to quit Queen Vic but also start over somewhere. He convinces Janine that it will be the right choice for both them and the baby.
Shirley Carter, the mother of Mick, becomes extremely suspicious when she hears Janine discussing plans over the cell phone with a man she doesn’t know named Steve. Scarlett Butcher has to know about the upcoming move, and Janine realizes she needs to inform her about it.
Scarlett is concerned that Mick will learn Janine’s horrible lie regarding what actually happened in Linda Carter’s traffic accident, but Janine convinces her that he should never find it. Shirley hears some of what they are saying but not all of it.
Sam Mitchell, his ex-girlfriend, is a target of Ricky Butcher’s outrage because he believes she treats him with disrespect. He responds angrily, calling her a loser in love because he is tired of her frequent jabs. When the insult hits close to the heart, Sam becomes angry and leaves The Vic!
Ricky confronts her at the cafe and apologizes after realizing his mistake. Sam is sorry for Ricky, but she acknowledges that he is correct. Additionally, Keeble reminds Kat that she needs Phil Mitchell to return to Walford, or else she’ll bring him home by herself in handcuffs!
EastEnders Tuesday, 20 December Spoiler Recap

After a night of drinking and the play where Alfie leaned in for a kiss, Kat Slater wakes up with a severe headache. He’s in the kitchen downstairs when she sees him, and he’s in a great mood, which really irritates her!
They fight until son Tommy Moon enters, which irritates him and causes him to leave. Kat follows him and sees him inside the café. Tommy brings out how much happier Kat is with Alfie around.
While Phil Mitchell is still absent from the Square, Kat is aware that Tommy is struggling because he views Phil as a surrogate father. Alfie is shocked when she tells him that she wants him to leave because she feels awful that Tommy is becoming confused about having Alfie live with them in the Mitchell home.
Alfie is devastated to be forced out of the home just as he is re-establishing a working relationship with Kat and the boys. Alfie devises a plan after Freddie Slater reminds him that he must earn his way back into Kat’s life. Stacey Slater hears Kat say that she can’t decide between Phil and Alfie.
When she returns home, she sees that Alfie has done something amazing. She is moved by his kindness and agrees that their entire family can have a beautiful Moon Christmas. But is there trouble to loom over us? When Janine Butcher is overheard discussing a secret with her daughter Scarlett, Shirley becomes even more suspicious of her than usual.
She tries her hardest to convince Scarlett to spill the beans about what she was discussing with Janine, but she is unsuccessful. Shirley’s suspicions increase after she witnesses Janine making another secret call. She chooses to relax by watching Die Hard, her favorite Christmas movie.
But just as it seemed she was about to uncover Janine’s deception, that picture of Frankie with Janine in the background flies out when she opens the CD case. Scarlett is frightened to learn that Shirley has found the embarrassing image, so she snatches it and slips it into her diary right away. Will Shirley uncover the dark truth that Janine has been keeping once she gets her hands on that photo?
After learning of a clinical trial for patients with brain tumors, Ben Mitchell has great expectations for Lola Pearce. Lola brings her boyfriend, Jay Brown, along when she sees Dr. Cunningham, a specialist. After reviewing her case files, the Doctor disappoints Lola and Jay by saying that he thinks it’s too soon for her to try the trial.
The Doctor tells Lola straight up that miracles don’t happen very often. When Ben returns home and learns the appointment was just a waste of time, he is devastated. Lola screams at her daughter Lexi Pearce after being insulted. Jay warns Ben that they need to make this Christmas special because it might be Lola’s last.

Billy gets angry when he meets his cousin, despite Phil’s best efforts to find a solution to keep him out of jail. He tells that his granddaughter Lola is actually dying from a brain tumor and accuses him of not being there for him when he needs him. Sonia Fowler reminds Janine that she is not required to marry Mick simply because she is carrying his child as she assists Janine in trying on her wedding dress. While standing in the doorway, Shirley notices her putting on the wedding gown.
Later, Linda advises Shirley to put her heated argument with Janine behind her and accept that Mick intends to marry her. But Shirley won’t have any of it, and she assures Linda that she WILL find out just what Janine is planning and bring her down! EastEnders Monday, 26 December Spoiler
On Monday’s episode, Mick Carter’s shocking Christmas Day drama leaves a lasting impression in Albert Square. After lies and secrets were exposed, Mick Carter received a surprise on Christmas Day. Every one of Janine Butcher’s evil plans was on the verge of being exposed.
Sharon Watts showed up with Jada, who Janine once hired to frame Mick’s ex-wife, a sober Linda Carter. Earlier in the year, an envious Janine persuaded Jada to put alcohol in the house where Linda was staying so that social services would learn about it and remove her daughter Annie Carter.
While all this was going on, Janine’s daughter Scarlett was hiding the dreadful fact that Janine had also accused Linda of being at fault for the vehicle accident that nearly cost her her children forever. There were more Christmas fireworks than just the terrifying day for the Carter families.
Phil Mitchell learned what was going on whilst he was hiding abroad, which put Alfie Moon and Kat Slater in a difficult situation. For the sake of their boys, among other reasons, Kat had graciously accepted Aflie into her house. However, in typical Alfie fashion, a little game where Alfie encouraged the kids to guess the password to Phil Mitchell’s safe resulted in negative consequences.
The armed robber who had just stolen a building society kept him captive and forced him to unlock the safe, taking £30,000 from Phil! The dramatic Christmas Day events are over, and now the aftermath has started. Will the complete truth eventually surface, and what will it entail for those involved?
