Dance with the Stars couple Harry Jowsey and his dance partner Rylee Arnold got eliminated after their last performance on Tuesday’s edition of the show. The participants used unfair strategies to win more votes from the fans.
Harry Jowsey jokingly confessed that he had missed his partner Rylee Arnold “a little bit” on their ongoing dance routine, as the viewers already fume that both of them have been playing romance rumors for votes. This is up in public as the pair had earlier faced rumors of having “something-something” between them at the beginning of the season after they were spotted together outside the ballroom being hand in hand.
Harry and Rylee did their performance for the special Taylor Swift theme night, which was held by DWTS on Tuesday. They gave an outstanding, beautiful rumba performance on Taylor’s hit song “August” from her Folklore album.
During the dance performance, at a moment when a romantic line from the song came up, Harry was spotted slightly kissing Rylee. This attempt at romance on the stage was later interrogated by the judge Bruno Tonioli for the clearance of the moment.

The show has been on air since June 2005 and has had 31 seasons. The 32nd season of Dancing with the Stars premiered on ABC and Disney+ on September 26, 2023. This is the first season of DWTS that airs live on both platforms simultaneously. It is also about to have its semi-final episode on November 28, and the finale will probably be held in the first week of December.
In season 32, the judge of Dancing with the Stars didn’t let the matter slide away and interrogated them to make it clear on the show if the “moment” was actual romance or just a part of their dance. Before heading to any conclusion, he first started by completing the performance. Tonioli said, “It was a romantic dance; the chemistry was tangible.” Then, he came up with the question, “Were you kissing, actually?”
To this question of his, Jowsey giggled and said, “Yeah, a little bit” in response. The couple had already been in rumors among the fans due to their TikTok clips and comfortable, frank behavior around each other. Though they had denied the rumors, the fans definitely liked them, and their love has brought them this far, even acclaimed by the participants.
Though the fans absolutely loved seeing this chemistry between Harry and Rylee, sadly, they got nominated for the show after receiving votes from the judges, as they both achieved 30 out of 40 for their performances and had to bid farewell to the show.
In regard to bidding farewell to the show, Jowsey said, “It’s been so special; I can’t believe we’ve made it this far.” Later on, Jowsey shared his gratitude with the fans who kept loving and supporting him.
What was the response of the fans to this kiss?
Few fans are of the opinion that he did that to add affection to the moment in order to gain more votes and make it to the semi-finals. However, the showmanship of the participants didn’t play on their welfare. Fans have made comments based on their opinion, as some said, “Alyson dances her heart out but gets a 29 because she can’t keep time correctly. Harry stands there, kisses her, and gets a 30. Make it make sense.”
Furthermore, one of the fans was spotted saying, “Rylee did a great job with the choreography and playing into the ‘romance’ storyline with those neat kiss moments for votes; he knows what he’s doing! It was by far his best dance, but he still needs to go home.”
The participants chose their Swift-favorites’ songs to dance on for the Taylor Swift theme night, like Cha-Cha-Cha to You Belong To Me (performed by Alyson Hannigan and Sasha Farber) first, and later carried on with Cruel Summer, Don’t Blame e. Throughout the show, a live band played songs by Taylor Swift.
The participants who made it to the semi-finals are Xochiti Gomez, Alyson Hannigan, Charity Lawson, Ariana Madix, and Jason Mraz. Harry Jowsey was eliminated after attaining the lowest score (30 out of 40) among all the participants.
After the Taylor Swift theme night of the show, the show aired a pre-recorded video of Taylor Swift, who is currently on her Brazil tour.
The video starts with her saying, “Hey guys, Taylor here,” and then she says a few words of gratitude for the performers. “I wish I could be there to see what you and your incredible choreographers, as well as my buddy Mandy Moore, have created. I wish I could be there, but I’m on tour in Brazil, so please accept my love and best wishes to all the participants.
