Who knows, she might be stronger than Angela.

Dungeon Odyssey Chapter 48 Recap

The chapter starts on the eighth floor, where the swine chief is warming up to go to the seventh floor. The Scarlet Lion’s guys from the seventh floor and the striped wasp were having a war on the seventh floor. The reason for the war was still unknown. The Swine chief ordered every swine to go back to the labyrinth and gather their forces and fortify the place as there might be guys invading to take over the place. The chief started running to make a path for Jinwoo and his team.

We then see Jinwoo and his teammates talking about the chief’s raid. Even though sound vibration travels through Gyser easily, they can still hear the chief’s running sound from half a day’s walk away. Angela checked the situation from her vampire ability. She saw the beast heading toward the chief just as planned.

Considering the noise level, she thinks that the beasts who were two days’ walk away will be attracted to the chief. It almost takes a few days to get to the entrance of the seventh floor. The chief probably needed to attack many beasts for them to get through.

Three days later, at the entrance to Gyser’s seventh floor, we see Jinwoo and his teammates fighting some beast. Uther was using her gluttony pieces to block the path so that that beast could get to Yoonhui. However, one of the beasts got through her slim and tried to attack Yoonhui, but she punched the beast so hard that it was shredded to pieces. Jinwoo forgot that Yoonhui was also a dungeon baby from the eleventh floor. However, being from a deeper floor doesn’t mean she can fight well.

Jinwoo asked Yoonhui if she could fight. And Yoonhui nodded. So he gave her a weapon and told her to show what she could do. By looking at her, it seems like she is used to fighting. Jinwoo told Uther to support Yoonhui just in case. As Uther won’t be affected by attacks since she was slime, but it would be bad if Yoonhui were to get injured. He then went to Angela to learn about the situation. Angela told him that the beasts were all over the place.

She made a deal with Jinwoo to defeat all the beasts. She said if he would give her two cups of his blood, then she would kill every single one of them. Jinwoo agreed to her conditions. A few minutes later, we see Angela all tired up after defeating every single beast. Jinwoo was checking all their current condition to see if they were alright. When he looked towards Yoonhui, she suddenly got swallowed by the ground.
