After Earth was saved from a great disaster, aliens began living alongside humans in Japan. At first, people were unsure how to feel about their new neighbors. Some welcomed the change, while others struggled to accept the presence of these extraterrestrial beings. Society slowly adapted, but tensions remained.
Nomamoto is an ordinary factory worker trying to live a normal life. However, her job is anything but easy. Her boss, an alien, is abusive and treats her harshly. She often feels powerless, unable to stand up to him. Every day, she endures the stress of her workplace, wondering if life will ever get better.
One day, Nomamoto meets a man named Kitami. He is kind and understanding, and they quickly become friends. As they talk, Kitami shares a painful truth—his entire family was killed by aliens. Despite this, he does not openly express hatred. Instead, he seems calm, even as he speaks of his loss.
Nomamoto finds comfort in their conversations. Kitami listens to her problems at work, and she, in turn, listens to his stories about his past. Their bond grows stronger, and for the first time in a while, Nomamoto feels like she has someone she can trust.
However, everything changes one day when Kitami does something shocking. Without warning, he takes revenge on an alien in an act of violence. Nomamoto is horrified. She never expected her friend, who always seemed so composed, to act this way. The event shakes her to her core, making her question everything she thought she knew about him.
Drama Queen Plot
As she struggles to understand Kitami’s actions, she is forced to face the deeper conflicts between humans and aliens. While some aliens are kind and peaceful, others abuse their power.
Similarly, while some humans seek revenge, others try to coexist. Nomamoto realizes that the world is not simply divided into good and evil—everyone carries their own pain, their own reasons for acting the way they do.
Now, she must make a choice. Will she continue her friendship with Kitami, knowing what he has done? Or will she walk away, refusing to be a part of the cycle of hatred? As tensions rise between humans and aliens, Nomamoto’s decision may determine not only her own future but also the fragile peace between the two species.
