Drake has a big surprise for music fanatics as the popular artist has released his seventh studio album, ‘Honestly, Nevermind! The album is already the talk of the town as the second track, titled Falling Back, shows Drake’s wedding where he marries 23 different women! His best man is portrayed by NBA player Tristan Thompson.
The release came just hours after he unexpectedly announced it. The high anticipated 14-track record arrived on streaming platforms at midnight. Fans have pointed out that some of the songs are reminiscent of tracks like “Passionfruit” and “One Dance.” The album has already become Apple Music’s biggest dance album as it has successfully broken the platform’s record for first-day streams worldwide!

The release also comes along with a lengthy message from the musical creator himself as Drake explains how he has let his humbleness turn to numbness at times, letting time go by knowing he got the endurance to catch it another time. He further added how he has worked with every breath in his body cause it’s the work, not the air, that makes him feel alive.

The brand new record has been executive produced by Drake himself, Noah “40” Shebib, Oliver El-Khatib, Noel Cadastre, and South African producer and DJ Black Coffee, whom Drake worked with previously on the 2017 project ‘More Life’. DJ Carnage, aka Gordo, also took to social media and confirmed that he had produced six of the songs on the album. He further penned down a heartfelt note for his work brother while thanking Drake for trusting him and allowing him to be a part of the vision.
DJ Carnage further added that he never factored this into the equation for the beginning of his next chapter, he thanked Drake as he concluded the note. The record also features one collaborative track, ‘Jimmy Cook’s, with none other than 21 Savage. It is a tribute to the character Drake portrayed on the Canadian teen series Degrassi, Jimmy Brooks. Drake seems to have a lot in store for his fan base as he further made the surprise album announcement in a social media post where he shared the album’s artwork.
